look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.25

Hazy blonde color with lots of fluffy white cap. Lots of effervescent bubbles.

Aroma is of a bowl of fruit - tropical mainly. Papaya, orange, grapefruit, some cracker and bread.

Flavor is pretty resiny with pine, hop oils, grapefruit rinds, orange pith, grass, and slight nuttiness. The more I drink it the worse it gets. It's not absolutely terrible, but definitely not as bright and fruity as the nose suggests.

Feel is proper, it's carbonated and semi-dry. Slight resiny finish.

Overall, it's not bad, but not fabulous. I'd pass next time.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a clear glass tulip. Canned on 01/10/17 on bottom of can.

A: Slightly hazy light yellow like lemonade with 1-finger off-white head which falls away quickly and leaves no lacing.

S: Very herbal and weedy aroma which would be fairly caustic to me usually (as this is a character I am sensitive to) but the malt grainy sweetness balances it well along with more resinous and darker hop aromas with more depth.

T: Flavor is also fairly herbal with grassy, lightly weedy (weeds in your yard rather than weed in your bong) flavors that are counter-balanced by lighter lemon citrus and melon flavors. Maltiness is not forgotten despite the light hue with a good crackery graininess hanging around. Moderately bitter and no yeast flavors detected.

M: Exceptional work in keeping this light bodied and dangerously drinkable. Carbonation was moderate.

O: L.D.L.T. Is a solid and unique IPA which went down extraordinarily easily and had unique mixes of hop and malt aromas and flavors.

12 oz can. Pours hazy yellow orange, thin white head fades to a thin ring, a little soapy lacing. This is an herbal IPA! In the nose and taste, big dank weedy herbal flavors dominate, some citrus there as well. Thin to medium semi-soft feel, slightly dry finish. Very tasty IPA, different than the juice bombs and hop bombs.

Pours a slightly dull golden yellow with an orange hue and a touch of haze and a thin layer of bubbly carbonation.

Orange and grapefruit peel, herbal almost piney notes, and slight Belgian yeast-like spicy/peppery notes.

Herbal and piney notes blanket a citrus fruit swash and a peppery yeast twang on the swallow that clears the palate.

Medium-bodied, low-medium carbonation, yeasty, dry finish.

Overall, I wasn't blown away by this beer, but I was happy to find out how easy these go down. Good beer.

From an 8 day old can poured into a pint glass. Hazy, orange gold pour. Smells of grapefruit, orange pith aroma. Initial taste slightly tropical, a little watered down in the middle with a bitter pithy hop finish. Good carbonation, overall a tasty brew.

Light fluffy head. Pours deep reddish orange and extremely cloudy; Almost thought it was a Hefeweizen and I had to double check the can.
Strong citrus flavor at the front end with a clean piney hoppy finish.
Overall, very impressive IPA. Porch drinking beer at its best.

An excellent go-to ipa for those in Atlanta. Hits almost all of the major flavor profiles of the style, from grassy/piney to fruity/tropical, while still managing to have a unique flavor. First time trying the beer, the pineapple or fruity taste really stood out to me, while the second time trying it the malty characteristics came through more. Great overall

Drinking out of a snifter. Canned on 12/21/15

Just removing can from the six pack and a gentle pour results in a bIllowing 3-4 inch head.
Hazy golden appearance. Scent is where I was intrigued. Kind of a peppery note, faintly
but not really Belgian. Definitely raspberry cherry notes when I'm drinking it, which are lingering.

Really glad I picked up some of these when I was in Athens last week. I've been on a Jai Alai - Tropicalia binge and this beer goes in a way different direction.

Pours a clear, deep gold/pale amber producing 1.5 fingers of off-white, frothy, somewhat lasting head that leaves blotches of frost-like lace. Aroma is floral, grapefruit pith & rind, melon hints, a little tropical & piney in a caramel malt background. Taste is similar floral tea like notes, grapefruit pith & rind, pine & pineapple, melon, cigar cedar wood hoppiness with caramel malt more balanced than the nose but still off centered in favor of the hops. Finishes only slightly sweet but becomes increasingly bitter in the aftertaste is faintly malty rapidly gravitating to predominantly bitter. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, finishes juicy but rapidly drying with a mild prickle & slight drawing nature on the tongue.

12oz can poured into a tulip, canned 12/21/15

A- pours a clear golden color with an enormous frothy white head coming from a slow pour, that lasts long after the pour, leaving some lacing behind, looks like a saison

S- fruity and peppery up front with aromas of red berries, citrus fruit, pineapple & grass

T- fruity hops up front with notes of red berries, citrus peel, mango pineapple. Mid-palate brings bitter resin, along with some dough malt, finish is bitter, but not just hoppy bitter, seems a bit off

M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and finish

O- might be some carbonation issues with this can, which seems to add some off-notes, an interesting beer nonetheless, almost drinks like a hoppy saison

One word: badass. I'm a huge IPA fan and this is about as good as I've had in a while. It manages to be super unique even while its pursuit seems to be the west coast tropical IPA. First, very much the lush tropical fruit and a subtle manner. It's followed by a very quick bitter and almost toasty bread like malt. Finishes very well and carbonation is perfect. Very clever beer. FYI- rating is low due to 1 rating below. All others rave over this beer. Will definitely keep this on stock for a while.

Pours an inviting hazy glazed doughnut shade of orange gold, topped with an off-white head.
The aroma is extremely aggressive with a pineapple, orange, mango punch ending really well with a smokey bong water burnt caramel whiff.
The flavor is heavy with zesty citrus notes and fresh cracked pepper. The malt base is mild and sugary. The mouthfeel is rousing and and it sizzles on the tongue.
Overall this is an outstanding brew. Nothing boring here at all. Just when you think you've had enough with IPA's something like this comes around and reminds you that there's more to come.

Despite being out of a can, this beer looked like it was bottle conditioned, and poured very hazy, with a pale amber look not too far from orange juice. The aroma was very citric, with grapefruit dominating, followed by some orange peel. The taste kept the citric theme going, with a grapefruit flavor front and center, and some lemon in the finish. The body was quite thick for an IPA with a long aftertaste this was bitter. This was a good, citric IPA.

L - Golden yellow with little clarity. 1 finger of head and not much lacing. Yeast sediment floats around, which I give bonus point for

S - Pineapple, citrus, and hoppy goodness

T - Citrus, pineapple, smooth and well balanced. Tasty as hell!

F - Medium bodied, well carbonated

O - An awesome IPA, hands down.

Appearance is golden/pale orange and fairly cloudy. Pours a light creamy head (about 1/2") with decent soapy lacing.

Smell is citrus/orange with a hint of grapefruit. There is floral grassy hops present.

Taste is earthy hops with a strong citrus flavor. Grapefruit comes through the most with some pineapple, orange peel and lemon. The malt is subtle but a bit creamy, and the bitterness is low for an IPA. There is some sweetness, but the finish is relatively dry.

Mouth feel is creamy, medium/light bodied with relatively mild carbonation.

Overall this is a very enjoyable and drinkable IPA. There is good balance and a nice citrus/grapefruit flavor. The only real negative is that this beer lacks much of a punch.

Poured into a Duvel tulip from a can dated 9/15/15. The liquid is a nice cloudy gold and the pour produces a giant foamy off-white head that leaves lots of lace.

Aroma is peppery, citrusy, piney. Little bit of a malt aroma, but mostly a nice prickly hop smell.

Flavor is similar - there's a really interesting black-peppery quality to the hops. Really nice! Citrus and pine follow up, and it even comes off as slightly sour. There's a tiny bit of malt, but the flavor is really nice prickly hops.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, nice and silky, with lots of soft carbonation.

Yay cans, thanks to rudzud. Canned on 9/29/15, less than a month old.

Pours a light fizzy creamy head, decent soapy lacing, very hazy nectar orange pale color.

Nose fair hops, tropical citrus, little pineapple and grapefruit hint, very fruity a strange tree fruit little creamy Orange peel, little sweet toasty malt, almost oat like, mild bright floral grassy hops.

Taste brings big fruit, straight up pineapple and orange peel, sweet orange peel and little creamy like, pineapple, little grapefruit pith, more tree fruit and berry notes, into a mild earthy grassy hop component. Malts are mild toasty and a bit creamy and something else unique almost oat out gristy like. Light pear citrus like prickly pear, fair bitterness. Finish drier little sticky, bitterness ramps, little earthy, more fruit pineapple and orange peel, etc.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little syrupy on the back end.
