Hey, this is a slightly better than average DIPA. I can say that drinking this ipa on the Erie Canal is a 5 experience. That said, 1 week old crowler pours with 1 finger head, piney sweet smell, sweet, Carmel, pine taste with a sticky sweet front and a piney finish. In a crowded field it’s average , at the pub in Schoen place, this is a winner!

Aroma and taste are decently hoppy - pine, citrus, slight dank earthiness. Fairly sweet with caramel notes. You can feel and taste the 8.0% abv - not a subtle beer.

On tap at Pittsford Pub in Pittsford, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish amber color, with a half inch head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells insanely bitter, just a blast of pine, with some pretty gnarly vegetal aromas, as well as a metallic aroma.
This was a major disappointment, and is honestly one of the worst IPAs I've ever had. It's so harsh, and unforgiving. It's just way, way too piney and bitter, with a really gross dank vegetal thing going on. There's also a weird minty sort of flavor. Imagine mowing your lawn, and your lawn has a couple pine trees in it. So you bag up the grass clippings when you're done, and there's a lot of pine needles in there. Now imagine you left that bag of crap in your wet basement for a month. That's what this beer tastes like. It's also contract brewed at CB Craft Brewers, so there's an unpleasant metallic character to it. This is honestly disgusting.
This has just a wet slick and gross mouthfeel, with really no drinkability. The carbonation level is normal.
This was really astonishingly bad.
