look: 2.5 | smell: 2.75 | taste: 3 | feel: 3 | overall: 2.75
12 ounce bottle served in a Kölsch style glass.
Appearance: Golden yellow with decent foam that does dissipate fairly quickly but leaves some thin lacing. Fair carbonation. Something weird was descending from the head into the main beer body that left a cloudiness that was unappealing to look at.
Smell: Fruit, apples, floral.
Taste: Mostly a mild hop flavor with a little sweetness.
Mouth feel: Light to medium bodied, kind of oily with average carbonation. The finish lasted a bit.
Overall: Overall this is not a favorite beer. The appearance I wrote of was disturbing. The flavor was ok and actually for a Sam Adams it was disappointing. This is my taste and opinion and anyone who reads this should draw their own conclusion.

Pours a decent fizzy slight creamy 1/2 finger head, a little small but retains well, decent lacing, hazy slight yeast sediment lighter peach orange colored.
Nose is actually kinda meh, an herbal like hop jumps out front, mild mossy grassy earthy note too, a hint of a sweet caramel note, touch grainy. Almost alt-beer like not really Kolsch.
Taste starts with grainy malts, a little toasty and a little corn stalk like, but light. Then herbal hops, little mossy and earthy, mild bitterness. Soft feel at least, almost lager like soft and crisp which is at least one good thing from the Kolsch. Finish is fairly dry but a little sticky, crisp but soft and a little mineral note, mild fruity flavor too, malt juice, and a little herbal earthy hop.
Mouth is softer and a bit lighter bod, decent carb, fluffy carb.
Overall meh, not one of Sam Adam's best beers, just a little Kolsch like notes, hops are not quite where they should be for a Kolsch, malts are OK at least, and it has a nice soft slight crisp feel.

Appearance: Pale yellow coloration with a strong head that dissipates after the first couple of sips.
Smell: Wheat. Malt. Very slight spice, almost not worth mentioning.
Taste: Bread like. Lighter. Not too much flavor going on here.
Mouthfeel: Definitely sticks in the mouth and leaves an aftertaste that is not pleasant but not unpleasant.
Overall: I got this beer in a variety pack. The beer is just OK. Nothing special nothing terrible. I most likely would not purchase this beer again however I would not turn one down if offered to me.

Towering head, good stickage with the lacing. Hazed out golden hue, why does unfiltered have to mean hazed? This is not a Zwickelbier. Crisp snappy grain in the nose and on the palate. Yeasty with bready overtones. Herbal hopping all around, sort of the trademark of most of their beers right?
Aside from the unnecessary haze this is a very crushable brew, give me a liter mug of this now!

Pours a white, five-finger head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light lemon nose, flavor is a lemony grain with light bitterness. $1.99 for a 12oz bottle from Bert's Better Beers Hooksett NH. Best by 6/2014.

From twelve ounce bottle freshness dated to May 2014.
Has a light citrus fragrance with a hint of meadow grass. Pours clear orange body with short lasting white head. Nice lacing of glass. Crisply carbonated. An acidic and slightly sweet taste. Enjoyable.

An excellent drinker for spring. Like the very light toasted malt character, but it's a little beefy for the style (not for the season though and this is a seasonal.) Hops are appropriate and I like the two varieties used -- Aramis and Strisselspalt. I liked the Alpine Spring a couple years ago and like this just as much.
