Poured from a 12oz bottle into a snifter.
Appearance/Smell - Appears a clear amber with a flimsy head, and very poor retention. Low-medium carbonation can be seen, and it doesn't leave any lacing. Smells of semi bright grape, pair, and apple fruitiness, following is a dominate sweet grainy, molasses & caramel aroma. Pretty clean and grainy overall, but has a sweeter, non adjunct aroma that one could appreciate.
Taste/Mouthfeel - Tastes grainy & malty, following is a bright, crisp grape/apple fruity note that quickly vanishes making room for a soft caramel finish. Some bread notes can be slightly detected as well, and mild bitterness rounds out the flavor profile decently. Mouthfeel is crisp, semi smooth, thin, and lite bodied. Pretty much fits the style while not complimenting much on the flavor profile.
Drinkability/Final thoughts - Well I'm not big on lite beers, I was however curious about this one. This lite beer is extremely easy to toss back, 2-3 pints even, on any given day. It's not rich, or robust, and at times can be a little boring, but Id say this is one of the best lite beers you can get for your money. The appearance was lacking a bit, but the smooth caramel flavors make up for it. Sam Adams Light is definitely the best lite beer that Ive had, and I say go for a try. Cheers!

I love the regular Sam Adams but when they convert it to a light beer, it was a total swing and miss. The iconic char taste is gone and there is nothing but sour water left.

Well between another light beer and this one, as my go-to, I have to say I like the yeast flavors and light lager tones, the smell is hoppy and blissful, when you pop the top and the swirl of Beer fog, protrudes up, you get lost in the malty bliss of a light beer. Usually, I enjoy my full-bodied flavors. But when I need to watch the old Dun lap and am among ladies I tend to go for a light beer until they get a bit tipsy then quickly switch back. As for the look, Same ole sam Adams label with a grey light beer Farce, The taste is like water to me with a hint of hops and yeast. almost bready, the feel of the bottle is 4.5 but a stine is a 5 . overall, This is in the top 3 for light beers. for me.

Amber color with a medium light body. Around middle of the road carbonation.
The aroma is malt, not roasted but just malt. Some earthy grain as well
Taste is really similar to aroma with malt being forward but not cloying sweet
It's really one if the best light beers I've had by far, very far. Most are watered down versions of original and this was fairly flavorful
