I tried this from the bottle chilled in a 1/2 pint glass.
The appearance is black with brownish highlight thick cream head with tiny bead and lasting retention with lace that sticks
The smell has a raisin-like sweet scent with mild roasted malt and gentle brown sugar odor
The feel is roasted yet moderately high carbonation with creamy body and light sweetness with slight alcohol in the back and mostly dry finish
The taste has sweet caramel up front with light coffee-like roastiness and nutty slight char character with mild mineral yeast and carmelized brown sugar with light toasted malt flavor in the finish which is dry
Solid in every way a good oatmeal stout with enough roast, yet yeast and creamy body to be a good example of the style in my book. I consider this a good everyday drinking stout

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, caramel colored head. It smelled of chocolate, oatmeal and coffee. Nice roasted flavor with coffee and chocolate.

4/28/18....pours dark brown, almost black, with touches of off white foam scattered on top. Oaty milk chocolate nose. Vanillas too. Creamy mouthfeel. Like a chocolate milk shake. Oats poke through at the end. Balances out nicely. Not a bad take on the style/.

Look - Black-brown opaque body with a short tan head that has decent retention but leaves little lacing
Aroma: roasted malts with hints of coffee, leather, and chocolate.
Flavor: oatmeal and dark roasted grains with hints of coffee and chocolate. Slightly bitter with no sour or other off-notes.
Feel: full body. medium-low carbonation.
Overall: a solid, robust oatmeal stout.

Poured very dark almost black with a tan to light brown head. I would expect this for a stout. I got a 4 inch head with a hard pour. I didn't expect that from a stout. there was a fair amount of lacing. I couldn't smell much maybe some roast grain. You could tell that oatmeal was used to blunt the bitterness of a stout. Some taste of roast grain and just a slight taste of coffee. I would expect more coffee for chocolate flavor from a stout. The mouth feel was very light flat with little carbonation. I think most of the carbonation was lost with the large head during the hard pour. If I have another, I'll give it an easy pour. Overall I thinks it is very drinkable but not outstanding stout.

Had this one poured from the bottle into a shaker pint glass. Dark, mahogany colored, with a finger of mocha head atop. Aromas of roast, caramel malt, and powdered baker's cocoa. Flavor follows up, nice char and cocoa notes, but misses the flavor and feel of an oatmeal stout. It's thin, not full-ish or fluffy like you normally feel in an oatmeal stout. Decent, but off the mark.

Look - coffee brown, two to three finger head that dissipates quickly leaving. some lacing
Smell - nice roasted malt flavor, fragrant coffee and a hint of sweetness.
Taste - slightly bitter, and coffee flavor dominates in taste. because of the somewhat high carbonation, not as smooth as I imagined
Feel - medium to full body. high carbonation, low ABV.
Overall - this stout was not as hearty as advertised, and the mouthfeel was just not was I was expecting from an oatmeal stout. it's not bad, but it's not great either.
