Slightly hazy and fruity with a touch of lingering bitterness. Brewed with two hop varieties from New Zealand, Wai-iti and Nelson Sauvin, this pale ale has a hint of lemon-lime aromas and a crisp white wine character. Lychee and pear purees add a fruity, grape-like taste that balances the herbal hop notes in this juicy amber brew.

Pours a clear copper color with a white head and some lacing down the pint glass. Aroma of fruit and slight floral hops. The taste has a good balance of fruit flavor, slight pine and floral, complimented by a slight bitterness. Very easy to drink. A light bodied, well carbonated ale, Boston Beer Company dials it in again. Solid fruited pale that has hop notes accented with suggestions of pear and lychee, although it just tastes fruity.

Part of a tap takeover at HyVee Market Grille. Poured a hazy, golden yellow. It smelled of pear. It tasted of sweet pear flavor. Not a lot of hop bitterness.
