On tap in mason jar at Green St Lical in Chicago. Clear amber profile with small plumes of gas. Head gone within a minute and minimal lacing. Smells like mango juice. Taste is immediately fruity, gives to a piney bitter and then dries out the tongue with an unexpected dental appt aftertaste. 14 oz to go!

Appearance: Slightly hazy golden orange body is crowned by a modest moderately coarse cream-colored head. Thick, finely-beaded and unbroken lacing adorns the glass wall. Profuse streams of small bubbles drift lazily to the surface, renewing the head.

Aroma: Dense aromas of tropical fruit present, predominately mango, but also pineapple, and orange and lemon rind. There are also very lightly toasted bread notes and a hint of caramel.

Taste: Begins with an amazing fruit palate, mango, pineapple, melon, peach, orange and lemon rind. A little pepper and pine lurk beneath the bouquet of fruit, but are fairly subtle. Later in the taste, there is a malty presence, like lightly toasted white bread slathered with caramel spread. Late in the taste, the more traditional pine hop flavors manifest, with lesser grassy hops. Finishes with a lingering herbal hop note and faint caramel.

Mouth feel: Soft, pleasant, and very full, with a gentle burst of carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: A interesting and refreshing rendition of the style. I am not normally that fond of the American IPA style, but I would certainly drink this one again.

Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass longneck bottle, served in a Save the World Brewing teku. This example was carefully cellared, for some time, i.e stored in the back of the refrigerator in a brown paper bag. However, it seems to have retained its character rather well.

I had this poured from a bottle in late August 2017. It enjoyed the fruit juice taste, though I had not had many beers of this style at that point. It was a fairly fresh bottle -- September 2017 date. I also had one in January 2017 that I noted was "a bit thin on the palate."

Not a bad beer for a summer day. Tastes like an American IPA with a shot of mixed citrusy fruit juice. Kind of seems a cheap/lazy juice bomb IPA. Very drinkable beer, especially if you like citrusy IPAs. 3.25/5 is a good score for such a mass produced brew.

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead on 3-1-18 for $1.79. Best by notched date shows December 2017 - DOH - but stored in the beer fridge since purchase.

Beer pours orange with a nice white head that is leaving some lacing behind.

Nose is orange and mango, pretty nice.

Taste follows the nose. Mango-orange juice greets the palate along with the moderate malt base. Finish is a touch sour pucker; no etectable bitterness at all.

Mouthfeel is mdium bodied and kind of refreshing.

Overall not a bad beer but nothing special. Mango addition is a bit too much for my palate.

L - see through light amber with light carbonation. One finger white foam head. Light lacing.
S - mix of fruits ( Orange, mango, grapefruit ).
T - follows the nose but a little harsh with a tangy feeling at the back of the tongue.
F - Fairly crisp with a medium mouth feel. A little numbing on the palate.
O - decent beer. I’m not big into beers with mango, but this was more subtle.

LOOKS: A lighter amber with lots of carbonation swirling around the glass, and a finger + of off white head, that sticks around.
AROMA: Biscuits and sweet mango.
TASTE: Mango juice, bready malt, and mild grapefruit rind. Mild building bitterness.
FEEL: Average carbonation, a little slick, and medium-ish body.
OVERALL: Pretty good if you like mango.

Clear orange color. I was expecting it to be hazy. Lot of rising bubbles. Foamy two-finger head. Aromas and taste of mango. Lingering tropical fruit flavor.
