Brown amber color is very clear. Off white head and lacing don't last. Smell is sweet bread. Taste is Initially very malty, some maple syrup, then a little dry bite.

Pours a reddish copper with a half finger of head. The nose is bready with a touch of caramel. The flavor is rich with sweet toasty caramel malt dominant. The finish is slightly dry. The body is hearty for the style.

Look - Pours a beautiful ruby/amber color, two fingers of khaki colored head, patchy lacing.
Aroma - Minerals, black tea, pear, nougat.
Taste - Earthy up front, sweet malt, biscuit, caramel. Hops are mild and earthy, not very bitter. Finish has lingering sweetness with an earthy tea note. Mildly tannic aftertaste.
Feel - Light to medium bodied. Smooth, creamy carbonation, slightly dry.

Overall - One of my favorites for the style. The balance and notes of tea keep me coming back for more.

Poured from 12oz bottle into Bell's Oberon Pint glass. Enjoy by June marking.

L: Clear amber, thin head with minimal retention, keeps a ring however.

S: Caramel and toffee malts, buttery.

T: Follows the nose with a herbal like hop note.

F: Medium body, higher carbonation levels, dry finish.

O: Meh. Easy drinker.

With the heavy carmel/toffee flavors it taste more in line with a bock or Scotch ale than Irish Red. Decent but a touch too much sweet malt.

This one pours a deep reddish amber, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.

Smells like caramel, slight fruitiness, and breadiness. It's simple but pleasant enough.

This isn't all that bed. It's got some nice toastiness and breadiness, a kiss of hops, and a very faint fruitiness. This isn't the most barnburning or complex style, but this is a decent version of it.

This is crisp and pretty clean, with a good level of carbonation.

This is nothing to go bonkers over, but it's solid enough.
