Samuel Adams® Noble Pils is brewed with all 5 Noble hops for a distinct hop character and fresh taste. Deep golden in color with a citrusy hop aroma, Samuel Adams Noble Pils is a traditional Bohemian Pilsner. The honeyed malt character from traditional Bohemian malt is balanced by delicate yet pronounced citrus, floral, and piney notes from the Noble hops. The winner of our 2009 Beer Lover's Choice® election, this beer was chosen by over 67,000 drinkers for its crisp complexity and refreshing taste.

I am re-reviewing this beer. This is a beer that has grown on me. The first time I had it I was unimpressed but I began to appreciate it along with company as a good session pilsner. Now that is is March (I bought my first sixer on the 1st) Noble Pils is now a year round beer. I am so excited as I am increasingly amazed by the beauty and subtlety of this beer.
Appearance: Pours a transparent golden yellow with a nice bubbly body. The carbonation trails up for a while. The head is a perfect rocky white with yellow hints that leaves light lacing.
Smell: One word Esters! There are hints of citrus, peach, banana and red grapes. The hops are a well blended mix of flowers and perfume. The malts are a blend of British pale malts and bohemian honey malt. Very sweet.
Taste: Light noble bitterness, fruity and green with a sweet malty backing. I am reminded of bread and butter with honey. The finish is quick and dry.
Mouthfeel: Clean, slightly sweet and light bodied striking a fine balance between drinkability and experimentation.

"Best by 4/4/24"; drank 11/18/23 @ the Yarchives.
See-through pale yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big eggshell-colored head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Fresh corn, mild caramel & faint skunky notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Sweet corn, mild caramel & faint skunky flavors.
Drinkable but I don't care for that light skunkiness.

Pours hazy golden-straw color with a good fizzy white head that doesn't last long, not much lacing, light grassy and flowery aromas. Bready and grainy mild sweetness turns hoppy and bitter with some dryness in the finish. Light bodied with a soft but crisp carbonated mouthfeel, very clean and crisp, very nice.
