12 oz bottle into a perfect pint. Best by January 2013. This is from the "Hop Tour" sixer.

A - Dark amber body with a two finger off white head. Modest lacing and retention.

S - Malt and english hops. Pine, resin, and some floral qualities. Light on the citrus with a spiced bready finish.

T - Piney and floral hops with a bready malt finish. Tasty and refreshing, but nothing outstanding. Mouth feel is slightly creamy with nice carbonation.

O - Very much in the english style of IPA's with that nice bready malt backbone and delicate floral/piney hops. Not a bad little beer, but its weak in the AIPA category.

Pours a light copper with a big and very persistent head. Great lacing. Smell is very nice citrusy hops. Lemon peel. Could be a little more intense though. Taste is bitter and citrusy hops throughout. A bit of sweet malt in the background. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Nice. Mouthfeel is somewhat light and watery. It's nice to see Sam Adams doing an IPA. Overall this is a good, if somewhat typical IPA.
