Poured into a snifter.

A - Copper with lots of carbonation

S - Flowery, sweet of fruit, and yes, it reminds one of champagne.

T - Very sweet (a little too much I think) and has a belgian style finish to it. Interesting.

M - I found the carbonation a bit much, and it is rough to drink this more than some sips at a time.

D - By the second glass I was done. Share the bottle among friends. All you need is a small sample ot enjoy.

It was interesting and a fun beer by SA. But not one I'd highly recommend.

A Christmas gift from a friend. Thanks, Steve.
In a flute, the beer was a golden color with an off-white head. Lots of carbonation. There was even a tiny bit of lace.
Nice aroma. Sugary sweet, fruit, peppery in the nose.
It tasted like a candied apple, with a late hit of hops.
Sweet, bubbly.
Very good.

Sam Adams Infinium

Appearance: golden amber, small head, and little lacing.

Smell: hops and flowery goodness with a hint of honey.

Taste: malty grain and subtle flowers and hops.

Mouthfeel: thick and heavy.

Overall:
It is much more malty than expected. It is pretty nice and rich.

A- Looks like a Kristalweizen, amber/goldesh hue, filtered... Head pours like a belgy and dissipates quickly, with some interesting activity.

S- Sweet, fruit(strawberry-like) and caramel with a banana finish... incredible. Yogurty, indiscriminate hop presence.

T- Up front banana followed by sour apple, with bitter finish... delectable.

M- Semi-thin, on the syrupy but in a bad way, and this where the amazing carbonation takes place.

D- Very sweet... is very similar too champagne so it is what it is. I would drink it again, but I'm not it's biggest advocate style-wise. Excellent brew though.

At first glance this beer looks fantastic. The fancy bottle, the extravagant head. All seemingly well.

Then the smell hits you, boozy, apples, caramel, and herbal. Not all that great..

Tasting at first I thought this beer is alright! Then I started tasting more and more, I slowly got very tired of the taste then almost sick in my stomach. I definitly won't try this again. I couldn't get through a glass. But this is just my experience, if I would have only had a taster glass I would have walked away saying this beer was pretty ok, maybe even great.

Picked up a bottle for my birthday / New Year celebration. The presentation on this beer is far better than it's contents. Very elegant, black 750ml botte. Laser etched label, foiler wrapper, cork n' cage, info booklet attached with shiny rubber band.

The beer pops with the pressure of a bottle of champagne. Pours a pale golden color, some big white bubble that fizz out quickly.

Aroma is interesting, oaky, grassy, hay bail, wet cardboard.

Full-bodied, highly carbonated brew fizziness tingles the palate and leaves some slickness.

Taste is not very good. Very faint sweetness up front that is washed away quickly by a yeasty mustiness, a lot of oak flavors coming through here, almost tastes infected.

The brew finishes dry with an aftertaste of heartburn.

Really this beer is not very good. I am disappointed I was expecting much more considering the price. As homebrewer, if I brewed this, I would not serve it.

Boom!

2011 release bottle, unique 750mL corked and caged bottle.
poured into tall thin pilsner glass.

appears a clear golden color with massive 3 inch foamy white head very reminiscent of champagne. fades down to a thin covering, leaving clumps of lacing clinging of the sides of the glass.

aroma is fruity, solventy, odd. it's almost exactly like scented dish soap. not good. taste is much better. light biscuity malt some sweetness, but it's balanced with a touch of earthy, grassy hops. no booziness. thinner body, bubbly carbonation. fizzy, sorta like champagne.

overall - to be compared to real champagne I would have expected drier, but that's fine as I don't really care for dry wine. I like the taste, and nice to try the unique style. However, not worth the high pricetag.

The price was steep at around twenty dollars. After purchasing a bottle I learned it was a Biere de Champagne. I'm not a champagne drinker and was less than enthusiastic about this one.

A: Pours a clear amber color with a considerable amount of head that leaves minimal lacing.

s: I detected malt and bread aromas. Also dry and fruity. An overall complex aroma for such a light beer.

T: A malty start that gave way to sweet fruit.Remindes me of a cider.

M: A High level of carbonation that you would expect from this type of beer. A heavier body than I expected.

D: Just not for me especially when concidering the price. If your a champagne or cider lover you should give it a try.
