I saw this on tap and thought I'd give it whirl. I like seeing more of these lower ABV Belgian types being brewed.
Filtered, clear gold with a thin wisp of white head. Not much going on, is this really a Saison? Faint floral hops with some tannic graininess and bit of citrus. Empty and a bit watery on the back end.
I've seen qualified brewers pack loads more flavor into a small Saison. This one was weak from start to finish. A well-chosen Saison yeast strain should impart a lot more character. Good thought, poor execution.

A bright yellow, glowing, good clarity, almost a full inch of white head. A little belgian aroma, not over the top.
Hits those yeast notes, stays away from clove and spice rack. Good lemon tart vibe. Crisp, well carbonated. Reliable and sessionable with plenty of flavor, exceeded expectations.
