12oz bottle into mug
Best before: April 2014

A: Pours a very dark brown, a little darker than cola, with 1.5 fingers width of mocha colored head. Head dissipates down fairly quickly and leaves almost zero lacing.

S: Artificial cherry, cocoa, very sweet. It actually smells a lot like cherry cola. Faint malts on the finish. It smells more like a soft drink than any beer Ive ever had, but I actually like it.

T: Cherry cough syrup, chocolate, black malt, faint bitterness. There's a nice lingering chocolate and malty aftertaste.

M/D: Thinner body, moderate carbonation, drinkability is below average.

O: Interesting brew, kind of tip toes the line of being a beer, as it tastes and feels like a soda. I actually like it though. Not something Id go to often, but definitely worth a try.

An excellent replacement to the original chocolate bock it is the sole reason why i wait to drink this one last in the winter variety pack. Nice dark brown color average head and all around smoothness. Addictive to drink all day long especially winter. So soothing it is unreal

A: Mahogany with cappuccino colored head.

S: Smells like maraschino cherries/Cherry Coke. Nothing much else.

T: Strong artificial cherry flavor. Light on chocolate. Doesn't taste like an bock.

M: Thin on the tongue,

O: Tastes like one of those cheap chocolate covered cherry cordials. It was interesting. I'd drink it again. It's good in small doses.

P: Deep dark mahogany body nearly black. A massive crown of creamy cappuccino head with decent retention and spider lacing.

S: A big dose of cherry cordials, sweet cherries, dark and milk chocolate, clove, nutmeg, figs, slight presence of anise, and spice bread.

T/M: Taste follows the nose. A pronounced profile of cherry cordial candies. Scorched grains, vanilla bean and finishes semi dry with lingering amaretto coffee. Medium-full body with moderate carb.

O: I'm not a huge fan of cherries. I have always hated cherry cordial candy but I admit this bock is not bad. I really was sure I would not like this but my mind has been changed. This isn't something I would seek out but I'm pleasantly pleased with this brew. On the negative side I feel that cherry presence really overpowers the other flavors. Cheers!

Pours out a dark brown/ruby body. Smell: maraschino cherry juice, almond extract, and chocolate flavoring. Tastes like a cherry Coke with chocolate flavoring. Lots of maraschino cherry syrup. Mouthfeel is flabby yet sticky. Needs more carbonation. I preferred the Chocolate Bock. I'm getting no bock characteristics between the cherry and chocolate.
