Poured into a 13oz tulip. It is very a dark red, with a nice 1 inch white, fairly sticky head. Some lacing. Smell is of bready, with some caramel, and some hops. Flavor the same, with a little bit of sweet hops in the finish. O.k mouthfeel. A solid beer, not my favorite of the 6. I like the series and think it was a good idea.

[Original rating 2011-06-12] Coppery color with a thin tan head. Aroma is faint but there’s a little bit of citrus in there. This one tastes more like an IPA than the East Kent or the Hallertau, with a nice grapefruit presence.

Copper color bordering on orange. 1/2" white head. Aroma was giving up more of the sweet malt accents moreso than anything hop oriented.
Taste followed the lack of aromatics, sweet malt, low hop flavor, low bitterness. Some caramel and toffee notes come out. This is tough to stretch into an ipa, comes off more like a British mild.
At least they're relatively inexpensive.

11/26....pours medium dark amber with white foam. Settles out completely. Orange, and orange peel nose. Floral and fragrant. Citrus flavor. Fruity. Orange malt flavor. Interesting hop direction.
