These have all been solid good beers, that highlight certain hops. This one appears a pale copper color with a light khaki tan head forming thick with fine scattered lacing between sips. Aroma has a nice floral/piney/citrus combo of hops goin on, malts bring on a touch of caramel breadiness. Flavor, well after your first couple sips this one gives great hop burps. Rolling bitterness in the flavor these are American hops, citrus pith/pine/floral aspects really greet the palate nicely. Each sip is easier than the next, with this more aggressive hop I find less straight caramel bread within the malts but just a subtle biscuit flavor that balances the beer just enough, yet it finishes bone dry. Mouthfeel is slightly oily with hops and carbonation is moderate really well drawn out for me. Medium bodied not cloying in anyway a nice representation of how nice these single hopped beers can be. Overall pure quality great exploration through the different hop flavors, I'm glad someone with this much distribution decided to put out a sampler full of single hopped beers...to my knowledge it's never happened before.

[Original rating 2011-06-12] Coppery color with a thin tan head. Aroma is faint but there’s a little bit of citrus in there. This one tastes more like an IPA than the East Kent or the Hallertau, with a nice grapefruit presence.

Copper color bordering on orange. 1/2" white head. Aroma was giving up more of the sweet malt accents moreso than anything hop oriented.
Taste followed the lack of aromatics, sweet malt, low hop flavor, low bitterness. Some caramel and toffee notes come out. This is tough to stretch into an ipa, comes off more like a British mild.
At least they're relatively inexpensive.

11/26....pours medium dark amber with white foam. Settles out completely. Orange, and orange peel nose. Floral and fragrant. Citrus flavor. Fruity. Orange malt flavor. Interesting hop direction.
