12oz bottle to Rock Island snifter.
A: Dark brown pour with transparent tawny and amber hues; pretty decent tan-ish head lacing.
S: Malty, sweetness, roasted & toasted grains, Maple wood, light hints of earth and vanilla. Cocoa?
T: Maple syrup notes emerge more here, blending with the other woody and nutty characters for an earthy sweetness. Toasted sugars, brown sugar, dark caramel, pecan and some other nutty flavors.
MF: Medium body with softer carbonation; fluffy, in the same way milk/lactose sugar stouts are. Pretty silky and velvety but not full-bodied. Some dry nutty notes as well.
O: Pretty decent; much like the Chocolate Bock this thing suffers from a similar 'artificial' essence to the flavors. Still, a nice porter.

This poured nice and had a nice head on it. Bottle was slightly shaken and room temperature when poured so the head was bigger than normal. Slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Probably wouldn't purchase it but my wife got 2 bottles from a friend so we had to try it. I uploaded a picture of the label.
