Poured into an oversized wine glass. Color was a dark reddish burgundy with a thick 2 finger off white head. Aroma was predominantly spicey, nutmeg and cloves. Slight earthiness akin to pumpkin as well. Flavor was peppery, with some sweetness from the pumpkin. Not overly spiced, or overly sweet. Nicely balanced. Felt decent in the mouth. A bit of bite, not overly thick, coated ok. Overall, a solid beer at the $6 I paid.

A: The beer is clear dark amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of pumpkin and spices are present in the nose along with notes of spices—allspice seems to stand out in particular.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has a light amount of sweetness along with hints of cinnamon.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this pumpkin ale to be enjoyable because it has a good balance between the flavors of pumpkins and spices.

Appearance: Pours a deep amber with two fingers of fluffy white head that fades quickly, leaving a thin splotchy lacing in its path.

Smell: Spice forward, with notes of cinnamon, allspice, and a bit of pumpkin. Also a sweetness to the aroma, with a good deal of sweet malts and hints of dark fruit.

Taste: Similar to the nose, with not a ton of pumpkin present, more cinnamon, brown sugar, and a good deal of malt sweetness. The dark fruit notes from the nose come through here for me, and this reminds me of a Belgian Dubbel.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with mild carbonation and slight tastes of alcohol. Low bitterness and drinks pretty easily for the size.

Overall: A pretty decent pumpkin offering here and something I'd likely try again. Given its availability, worth trying if you like a full bodied pumpkin ale without too much pumpkin character.
