Another typically solid offering from BBC. Apperance is great with a nice auburn color and good amounts of slightly off white lace. Smell was sweet and malty off the top with with some nuttiness hanging in the background. Flavor was a nice supprise with a typical red ale sweetness up front but backed up nicely with good piney hops in the finish which added a nice dry balance to the sweetness. Mouthfeel was not too thick, no too thin and carbonation level was nice. This is a very tasty brew and one I'd like to enjoy again.
