Tried on tap at a few locations. Doesn't represent the style very well. Nearly no flavor. Perfect if you want to sit down and have 20 of them.

Just a solid smooth beer. Only available 2 weeks a year though.

Felt like I had to try it since nothing else great was on tap and I guess I'm glad as It's decent. Sam Adams makes good everyday drinking beer and this could fall into that group. It's not horrible or great, it's decent. I'm an IPA guy - I would much prefer the flavorful Boston Lager or even Cold Snap over this.

Golden amber orange in color. Fairly clear in appearance. Official race beer of the Boston Marathon? Tastes like Sam Summer with a purpose. Lemon peel and toasted malt. Medium bodied.

Just an average beer. Nothing wiring with but nothing special

Tastes better the closer you are to the start of the Boston Marathon!

A: crystal clear; deep gold; 1 finger white head that receded quickly to a wispy cap; very little lacing;

S: salt, a little bready, a touch of citrus;

T: a bit of lemon for a moment, then kind of non-descript; no coriander; no bitterness; a little salty if you wait a couple seconds after the swallow;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish, but mostly due to the salt;

O: interesting, but not something I would come back to; flavor was almost non-existent;

So unique, don't know whether it'd ever make it to the top of my beer list as a must get but this is the first gose I've ever experienced. Malty goodness just rests on your palate while still maintaining a refreshing quench. Complete lack of hop bitterness and a one-of-a-kind twang that I've never tasted before, finishes with a pleasant spice note (coriander).
