There is a notch on the side of the label over "OCT" with the text "FRESHNESS MATTERS. ENJOY BEFORE MONTH NOTCHED."
Appearance: The body is a medium shade of gold with very good clarity. It has a short white cap with small bubbles and decent head retention. It fades out to a film with a thin ring of foam around the edge of the glass but it still manages to keep the surface somewhat covered. Some tiny spots form on the edge of the glass and disappear but no real lacing. The color and clarity are very good.
Aroma: There is a lemon-lime scent which is obvious but still somewhat subtle. It smells a bit like a limeade.
Taste: Lemon-lime flavor up front with a bit of a soft wheat flavor. The middle of the palate has a bit more of that sweet and gentle wheat-like flavor. The beer stays the same throughout drinking but it tapers off quite a bit towards the rear of the palate.
Mouthfeel: It is a light but soft beer which gives it a slight elevation in palate presence. It is easy drinking and enjoyable. The finish is a bit lackluster but the overall drinking experience is good.
Overall: The front of the label states that this is a "LEMON RADLER" and the rear label states that "THIS BEER WAS INSPIRED BY GERMAN CYCLISTS WHO MIXED BEER WITH LEMON-LIME FLAVORS." It definitely has a lemon-lime flavor and it is a good tasting beer. There is a slightly sweet wheat flavor to the beer which balances well with the light citric acidity. As a whole I would recommend giving it a shot and it's good enough that I would drink it again.

I know opinions are just that but. I'm calling BS on these low ass scores.. makes me think half the folks wouldn't know a Radler if it slapped them in the face.
Definitely not the best example of the style I've ever had but it's the best offering in the Summer pack for my money...
Light and refreshing. Lemon and lime flavors...crisp as all get out. Its 86 here today and humid. Super refreshing sipper while recovering from a long day of yard work.
Will buy this summer

Clear golden color with a wispy white head that disappears quickly.
The aroma is lemon and light sweet malt.
The taste is sweet lemonade and light lager with a bit of herbal hops for balance. A little sweet but tasty and refreshing, a good summer cooler or accompaniment for a barbecue.
The body is light, moderate carbonation, smooth and easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a pretty decent summer cooler.

Sam Adams Porch Rocker is advertised as a lemon radler. It pours an off-yellow with a white head. The lemon aroma is strong. The aroma carries into the taste, almost soda/lemonade sweet. The mouthfeel is clean enough. It's not bad, but it's definitely not your standard beer.

Very clear golden, very small head gone entirely and very quickly, zero lacing. Lemon present on the nose but its not great. Taste is fine, a little lemony, a little malty. Finish is fine as is the feel, quite low carbonation could be a minus for some but I don’t care. Would drink again if offered.

Wheat color, lemon wheat aroma. Crisp lemon taste, with a strong flavor. Clean finish, a unique, pleasant, and refreshing beer.

Nucleated Pilsner
Look: clear dark-Yellow in color pouring a thin cap for a head which dissipated into
Smell: Floral, strong lemon zest, lemon juice, toasted cereal grains, hint of yeast
Taste: sweetened Lemon juice comes first followed by a light yeast note. Finishes with sweet toasted bread with a hint of nuttiness to it
Feel: Moderate carbonation. Light mouth feel, and a slightly crisp finish

Some sweetness I wasn't expecting, like powdered sugar. The smell is lemon juice concentrate and sugar. Tastes like old lemonade... Very unappealing drink. Stinks on ice

Like a Mike's Hard Lemonade without the heartburn. Like a girl you settle for because there's nothing else around. A solid middle of the road, right on the fence, won't excite nor offend anyone, alcoholic beverage.

I'm working my way through the Sam Adams Summer Squeeze pack. The Porch Rocker is the first one I'd buy again (still have the Beach Session IPA, but I'm looking forward to it). It's a dark yellow, mostly clear appearance. It only poured a thin head, that didn't stick around long. Aroma is a little lemon and a little bready/yeasty. The flavor of this one is really good, though--a nice, hoppy lager with just the right amount of lemon. Really tasty summer beer.
