Best by was notched at October on the label.

Poured out a nice gold color with fine carbonation and a thick, white head (4.0). Lemon and grass aroma, rather mild (3.25). Lemon drop flavor atop a mild cereal grain base; mildy tart and acidic (3.3). Medium body with a noticeable residual sugar feel; dry finish (3.25).

As a beer and lemonade combo, this is probably okay. As a go-to beer, many people will probably by-pass this as it just doesn't satisfy the taste buds like either a light summer beer or regular lemonade would by themselves. You get more of a slightly sour, past-its-prime skunky beer flavor more than anything else. I don't know. Why ruin a good malt beverage by adding lemonade to it? I don't get the appeal...

APPEARANCE: pours a clear golden color

TASTE: Of course this is Sam Adams version of Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. It tastes like beer with a nice touch of lemon flavor. If you are a Summer Shandy fan stick with it. If Summer Shandy doesn't have enough of a beer taste, go with Porch Rocker.

OVERALL: I enjoyed this beer. Good Summer beer. It's a good beach beer.

12 oz can pours a clear gold color with a large cap of fluffy white head. Nice retention and lace.

Nose smells like a Lipton Brisk Iced Tea. Sweet and lemony.

Taste has a bit too much lemonade-esque flavor and the lager a bit to biscuity, bordering on light toast. Id like a less sweet version with a more neutral malt profile. This is far from my favorite radler and Id probably rank this below Lienenkugel's Summer Shandy on my request list.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best before date" December 2014.

APPEARANCE: pours a clear golden color with a one finger white head that dissipated slowly until a thin broken layer of bubbles remained, a higher amount of carbonation with moderate lacing on the glass.

SMELL: bread and citrus.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, sweet bubbly lemon, no hop profile that I can detect, more like a soft drink than a beer.

PALATE: lighter body with higher carbonation.

OVERALL: this is the second Radler style beer I've tried, I enjoyed this beer, it would appeal to people who do not normally like beer because it tastes like a soft drink, the modest 4.5% ABV means you can enjoy more than one. I would not drink this often but it's a good beach party beer.
