Light straw lemon color. Thin head with weak retention and a few, small lace spots.
Aroma ifs one dimensional with lots of lemon and weak grains. Flavor follows the nose. Lots of lemon, hint of citric, leafy hop. Light and smooth. Crisp flavor and finish in the end. Pretty refreshing. A solid session beer or for a hot summer's day.

A- pours a blonde-straw color with a small fizzy white head that retains decently, before settling completely

S- lemonade, wheat, toasted malt with some grassy hop aroma

T- slightly tart lemonade flavor up front mixes with a sweet malty base with a hint of grassy hops on a dry finish

M- medium/light body with moderate spritzy carbonation leads to a dry and crisp finish, high drinkability

O- it's an easy drinking beer that will only appeal to most on hot summer days, which is what it was intended for. For that, I'll probably drink a few this summer

12 oz. bottle poured into a Burley Oak snifter (best by October: P0934052633E)

A: Blonde yellow that is transparent. A bit of a frothy head on a good pour that rapidly vanishes.

S: Smells slightly citrusy, but more like the pith part, with some Helles in there. However, when I added the rest of the bottle on a hearty pour it smelled like lemon zest (or that little mist you get when you scratch the surface). That fades to a nice mellow citrus flavor.

T: Great mix of beer and lemons (lemonade). It is a Helles lager base, with a nice lemon twist in there. Drinks well and is a nice blend, without it seeming like a fruit drink that happens to be beer. It is like a beer version of half-and-half.

M: Not a lot of carbonation, it drinks a bit like lemonade.

Appearance: Clean straw golden with sudsy carbonation. Foam is ok.

Smell: Very mild lemon soap. Refreshing overall.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Sweet lemon flavor with a heavy corn malt backbone. Mouthfeel starts thin but there is definitely some moderate carbonation. Definitely too cloying in the finish.

Overally: A so-so shandy.
