[Suggested Glassware: Lager Glass]

The pour was a medium golden amber with a large (2-3 finger) white pillowy head that receded slowly, lasting throughout and had excellent spotty lacing.

The aroma was very big on blueberry with a sweet biscuit malt, light citrus hops and a mildly sweet yeast with a hint of candi sugar.

The taste was lightly malty sweet with a decent blueberry presence that lasted throughout with the finish having a touch of citrus and a mild bitterness at the end. The flavor lasted a very short time after the swallow with the taste of blueberry out lasting all other flavors.

Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery texture and a prickly carbonation.

Overall this brew is OK, but nothing really special. Although, I think it would be fine on a hot summer’s day with some grilled Shish-Kabobs...

12 oz bottle, poured into a Samuel Adams pint glass

Appearance: Pours a pretty, hazy, golden amber with a slight, maybe a quarter of a finger of white head that quickly dissipated into a very thin covering of foam formed a thin lacing foam atop the beer.

Aroma: WOW!! Lots of bluleberry! Tons of it infact! Very fruity which practically overpowers any other aroma of the beer. It’s very bright and fresh, but you don’t get any beer smell, no malt or yeast, just blueberry. I like it. I like it a lot actually, but I wish BBC could’ve somehow gotten some more aroma of beer in there.

Taste: Wow! Like the aroma, you get lots of blueberry! The whole front end of this beer is all blueberry, very fresh and bright and crisp, but then comes the beer! After the blueberry fades, the classic flavors of lager beer comes through: malt, caramel, subtle hops. Very, very, tasty!

Mouthfeel: Thin to medium, with good carbonation.

Overall: I like this beer. It’s fruity without being overpowering, and nicely balanced with the bready flavors of beer. It makes a great summer beer!

pours out a murky brass colour with a thick and rich frothy inch and a half high head. lots of chunky lace. smells like a blueberry muffin, bready and doughy with a subtle citric hop note. taste wise, this doesn't come across as a lager. bready maltiness beefs things up with a well placed blueberry flavour that i think comes across as legitimate. like i said before, to me, it's a liquid blueberry muffin. and i'm alright with that. the slightly spicy and tickling citric hop addition clashes somewhat with the fruit flavour rather than compliments it, but does provide a balance to the sweetness. full bodied for a lager, almost ale like with a tingly mouthfeel partially due to the bitterness from the hopping. this is drinkable...a nice summer beer.

overall...although i'm not sure what "natural flavor added" means, this fruit beer wasn't bad. and "smooth lager finish" means a little rough around the edges. ok.

Poured from a cold 12 oz. bottle into a tall glass. Wheatish color (darker than straw), a little milky, medium aeration, one finger of head which sustained itself for two minutes.

Aroma was more ale-like than lager like. Faint aroma of honey and blueberry.

Wheat beer flavor with a faint blueberry taste toward the end. More honey flavor than blueberry. Very tasty, but more wheat beer-like taste than a lager. No hoppy flavors. More barley and much more wheaty flavor. If you are expecting a lager, you'll be surprised.

Mouthfeel: Nothing substantial to report. Flavor and aroma stays with the beer. Easy to drink.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a clear glass pint glass.

Orange in color, and a fair amount of carbonation. The beer is one of the worst blueberry beers I have ever had, but that isn't exactly a bad thing. It is not super sweet like others, and the blueberry flavor is pretty mild. It has a very light body and almost feels creamy in the mouth.

Pours a slightly hazy purplish red witha thin layer of off-white foam that dissipates quickly.

Blueberry pie sweetness and toasted malt.

Sweet blueberry but rather artificial in flavor, some sweet malts.

Light-bodied, high carbonation, crisp, sweet.

Overall a bit too artificial for my taste.
