Pours out a hazy gold with lots of streaming carbonation topped by a creamy white head.
Smells very spicy with lots of nutmeg coming out. Some citrus and a very thick bread like smell.
The taste is very much like the nose. I am getting a lot of spice, picking up a lot of nutmeg and some cinnamon. A lot of malts on the taste as well.
Mouth feel is fairly chewy and the finish is kind of thick and wet.
I like this beer because it is what it says, Christmas in a bottle. Very holiday like with all of the smells and spices you taste in here. A very well done Christmas beer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle, into an Omme Gang tulip glass

Thick,white,frothy,1 finger head, with nice retention.Hazy gold in color, with distorted light coming through the glass.Beautiful cascade, with a ton of carbonation.

On the nose I some citrus, spices, malts, bread, some nutmeg.

On the palate I get bready malts, some spices,a slight hint of orange peel citrus, and some wheat.

The body is light, with a nice carbonated mouth feel.Medium dry finish.

Overall this is a nice beer for the holidays, not something I would drink religiously, but pretty good.

Festive, light. Pours golden amber, A classic witbier with added spices and citrus. Light bodied, has a champagne feel for holiday celebrations. I rather like it!

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized head that slowly dissipates, leaving a bit of lacing. Smell is of bready malts, holiday spices, some citrus, and some additional dark fruits. Taste is a nice combination of the aroma, very smooth in the mouth. Nice medium body, easy drinking, but flavorful.

Solid winter ale from Sam Adams. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg but they are not overpowering and a bit of citrus. Tastes like a Belgium winter ale. Sam Adams did a good job with this seasonal and I look forward to drinking this again.
