Poured from a 12 oz bottle, into an Omme Gang tulip glass

Thick,white,frothy,1 finger head, with nice retention.Hazy gold in color, with distorted light coming through the glass.Beautiful cascade, with a ton of carbonation.

On the nose I some citrus, spices, malts, bread, some nutmeg.

On the palate I get bready malts, some spices,a slight hint of orange peel citrus, and some wheat.

The body is light, with a nice carbonated mouth feel.Medium dry finish.

Overall this is a nice beer for the holidays, not something I would drink religiously, but pretty good.

Festive, light. Pours golden amber, A classic witbier with added spices and citrus. Light bodied, has a champagne feel for holiday celebrations. I rather like it!

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized head that slowly dissipates, leaving a bit of lacing. Smell is of bready malts, holiday spices, some citrus, and some additional dark fruits. Taste is a nice combination of the aroma, very smooth in the mouth. Nice medium body, easy drinking, but flavorful.

Solid winter ale from Sam Adams. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg but they are not overpowering and a bit of citrus. Tastes like a Belgium winter ale. Sam Adams did a good job with this seasonal and I look forward to drinking this again.

Presentation: 12 oz bottle, freshness notched for April, poured into a pint glass.

Look: Hazy, golden yellow with a white two finger head. Very good head retention.

Smell: Crisp, clean malts with some of unidentified spices.

Taste: Malts, spice and a little hop oil bitterness on the swallow. Spice blend seems very similar to the one used in Twenty Pounds of Pumpkin.

Feel: Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, clean, and very easy drinking. I think it is a little thick for the style but considering what season it is intended for it is just about perfect.

Overall: A very solid beer, not exceptional, but very good nonetheless.
