Poured from a bottle into a glass.
Overall: This one is all right as a spiced beer, but it's not very wit-like in my opinion. Some points were lost for low-level haze, a pumpkin spice taste, scant Belgian yeast characteristics, and some slickness in the mouthfeel.
Brassy golden, lots of bubbles, thin head, some lacing. Barely hazy.
Smells spicy like ginger root. Cloves, nutmeg, red hots (not cinnamon), citrus undertone.
A prominent, upfront spice taste that is more one-dimensional than the smell. Reminiscent of pumpkin spice. :S A fairly strong malty backbone and aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is smooth, a little chewy. Leaves a sticky film.

Clear golden body with a foamy white head. Aroma has Clive, nutmeg, hints of citrus, sourdough bread. Flavor is citrus, winter spices, hints of toast. Body is smooth and crisp, good drinkability. I guess this fits the bill of a golden Christmas beer, but nothing I would seek out.

Poured into a 13 oz Weyerbacher tulip glass best by May 2017. Pours a dark orange with a solid one inch white head that leaves behind plenty of webby lace.
Smell is nutmeg, sage, clove, vanilla, cinnamon, and coriander.
Taste follows nicely nutmeg, clove, sage, cinnamon, coriander, and vanilla.
Mouthfeel is a thin almost medium, plenty of life, not dry, and drinks easily.
Overall this is o.k, not really my thing, but I can see why it appeals to the average beer drinker.

Finally found a 6 pack of this at a local liquor store (nowhere to be found at the grocery stores). Pours a hazy orange with a nice white head. An easy drinking lighter winter spiced beer with all the darker heavier ones out there. Would definitely drink again.

12 oz bottle poured into a Nitro Project glass. Seasonal six-pack released in the winter along with Winter Lager. Limited availability and is sold out usually before Christmas day so stock up if you can/want. Belgian witbier ale with cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel.
L - golden amber color, hazy body, hard-poured to a two finger foam dome (no tilt needed). Left some in the bottle to shake the yeast out. Good 1/4 inch ring around the glass.
S - notes include orange Creamsicle, holiday cookie, distinct Belgian wheat malt, egg nog. Spices mask the clove scent of Belgian ale yeast, however I feel they used a different yeast for this beer. Really brilliant mixture of spice, malt, and yeast to give this holiday cookie aroma
T - orange cream, cinnamon, vanilla, Belgian yeast. Not as complex as the aroma. Nothing bitter or loaded with spice
F - very easy drinking, medium light body, really smooth wheat malt that slides down the mouth with a hint of spice left over. Not a heavy beer at all
O - this is a great holiday table beer. Nothing over the top and very pleasant to drink. Should appeal to the Blue Moon or other macro drinker just fine. Not sure why they didn't try this on Nitro, that would have garnered a 5/5 for sure. Still have to go with the dark and heavier beers, perfect for the ladies, cheers!
