Poured at 47°F from a 12oz bottle (enjoy by Apr 2016) into a Spiegelau wheat glass.
LOOK: Pours with a fingers worth of white foam that dissipates into a quarters worth after 40 seconds. Yellow in color with a high amount of cloudiness. A plethora of medium-sized rising bubbles leaves me wondering as to why the head isn't bigger. Lacing is high in quantity and both thick and thin in various areas.
SMELL: Strong aromas of wheat and lemongrass are backed by subtle aromas of cinnamon and hints of nutmeg, pale malts, and spicy hops. The orange peel that the label says is in here cannot be perceived. It's more than likely overpowered by the lemongrass aromas.
TASTE: Mild flavors of pale malts and wheat enter initally. Strong lemongrass and mild spicy hop flavors follow immediately as pale malt flavors grow slightly stronger. Subtle flavors of nutmeg and hints of cinnamon and orange peel (look who decided to show up) enter lastly as all previous flavors persist.
FEEL: Light-bodied and moderately carbonated. Goes down somewhat smooth. Finishes very crisp.
NOTE: The Boston Beer Co. is always a hit or miss for me and this was definitely a miss. The aroma told that this would be a pretty unbalanced beer in the taste profile, but I was hoping that was not the case. I'm not big on pale malts being used in excess and they were too strong for me to get excited about this brew. The nutmeg, cinnamon, and orange peel were too weak. The only thing right about this beer was the amount of hops that were added. Good job on that.

Overall the beer was ok, tasting mainly of orange peel, and maybe a little nutmeg. I didn't taste much cinnamon, though. I think it would have been better if the flavors were more fully blended.

I didn't really like this beer. I don't think it tastes very good. The mix of spices is off. After the first taste I thought, this is not a winner. It is pretty light.
