Pours cloudy orange color small off white head dissipates quickly. You can smell the nutmeg and spices very mild expected a little more aroma. Taste was underwhelming wheat and orange nutmeg and allspice flavor. weak watery feel in the mouth. Overall not a beer I would have again .

Appearance: Very hazy golden body with a large fluffy white head that fades down to a short creamy white film. Good lacing on the glass but poor retention as the head fades quickly.

Aroma: There is a sour tinge smell typical of wheat. There's nothing unpleasant but a bit underwhelming for a beer that displays "ale brewed with spices" on the label. Maybe these spices are not aromatic.

Taste: I'm getting a nice wheat flavor. Again I don't pick up any spices at all. It tastes like an average wheat beer.

Mouthfeel: Perfect mouthfeel for a witbier. I mean it is legitimately the gold standard of quality here. It has a nice thick creamy body that just floods the palate.

Overall: Spice in beers will typically fade over time, but this early in the season (two days after Thanksgiving) I would not expect a beer that says "Christmas" on the label to have no spice flavor when the label clearly states that it was brewed with spice. The neckerchief says "We put a new spin on a Belgian white ale, replacing traditional coriander with cinnamon, nutmeg & orange peel, giving this beer a festive, warming touch." I don't pick up any cinnamon, nutmeg, or orange peel. Overall this is a tasty wheat beer but I can't give my stamp of approval on something that doesn't deliver. If you're looking for a wheat beer this is about average. Freshness-wise it's better than many imported wheat beers that have become oxidized but there are some domestic (US) wheat beers available this time of year that are fresher tasting. If you're looking for a spiced beer you will be sadly disappointed.

Look: Cloudy dark gold: About a finger of white foam on top.

Smell: Perhaps a little pine and spice.

Taste: Tart: spice.

Feel: Thin

Overall: Meh...spicy thin IPA. Not much to see here. Still not a fan of SA.

bought this as a one-off - just before thanksgiving.

(having it right after a nice spiked egg nog)

a CLOUDY - some off shade of pale yellow. the head was white and wispy - almost like the head on a 7 up.
barely any lacing.

S not liking the smell - seems a bit "stale" no discernable hops. Im not finding the cinamon other reviews have mentioned, really nothing here that I can name.

T hand in hand with the nose - hard to put any name to it but honestly I dont like this

M nice carbonation

D - sorry but I have to say DONT BOTHER> this is the worst Ive seen from sam adams

Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Left minimal short lived lacing and had no head retention. This is a thin and mild tasting wheat ale. Yes, there are some tastes and aromas of the token holiday spices and yes, you can drink a lot of these baby's because they're pretty smooth and don't pollute your palate with a shitload of hops but in the end you may as well be drinking a Blue Moon or a Shock Top. Not worth the price of admission.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip.

Appearance: Hazy gold. Sheets of white lacing. Pretty well carbonated.

Aroma: I do get cinnamon, as the ad copy says. Also orange peel, lemon, wheat. Musty.

Taste: Pretty much tastes like a standard witbier. Not super distinguishable from Blue Moon, but maybe a little more complex flavor. I would've liked more cinnamon, as the nose foretold.

Mouthfeel: Standard for style.

Overall: Decent witbier. Doesn't strike me as very "Christmasy" but it's not bad.

They replaced the coriander with cinnamon so those tasting coriander, WTH? I taste the orange peel and all spice but it's strange. Finishes clean but not a good flavor. Not my cup of tea. Strange brew. Cheers!
