12 oz. bottle (best by March) from the winter variety pack into a Duvel tulip.

A - Clean, deep golden body with an off-white head that settles to a light foam. Pretty good stick.

S- sweet malts mixed with baking spices. Very much along the Christmas beer line, but quite out of the ordinary for a Wit. I'm thinking a lot of clove, maybe some mace and black pepper.

T- Much as the aroma suggests. A lot like eating a Christmas cookie, lots of spicy character (cloves, nutmeg, maybe some cinnamon, and a little black pepper at points).

M- Medium-light body, moderate carbonation. Fairly dry with a peppery bite.

O- An unexpected mix of a Wit and Christmas/holiday brew. I was a little off-put at first, but to be completely honest, it actually works. That said, instead of standing out as alternative to the spiced, holiday beers, it sort of blends into the pack. Decent beer. Not gonna seek it out, wouldn't turn my nose up at it either.

Wheat ale with a cloudy amber body with a non retaining medium white head. A very warm aromatic experience with the amount of ingredients (cinnamon, orange peel, and nutmeg). Slight bitterness at the back of the palate from what tastes like the orange peel. Very strong cinnamon flavor.

Not usually a fan of "Christmas" beer but this was pleasant. Picked it up on a whim in April near end of shelf life.
