Wow, very nice brew.
A-Gold, and I mean Gooold, nice white head that lingers
S-Smells like heaven, so very nice, words do not do it justice.
T-Fruit, heavy hop, grapefruit, not too sweet to start, clean bitter bite, smooth bitter finish
M-Good carbonation, light and flavorful

I highly recommend.

The beer comes in a golden color.

The aroma is floral, citrusy, hoppy, some bready malt.

The flavor follows with a good amount of hops. Floral, grassy, citrus notes along with some sweetness on the back and also that lagery effervescence.

A very crisp lager that holds a good amount of hoppy flavor, even at its lower ABV. Reminds me of Peekskill Hop Common, another delicious hoppy lager. A really enjoyable beer that Sam Adams has brewed.

Had this on 2013-07-21 in Maple Grove, MN

A - Mostly clear golden-orange with a 2-finger off-whte head and moderate lacing.

S - Light fresh bread, light orange citrus, light pine, touch of hop floral. Pleasant but not very strong.

T - Pretty tame at first with light malt, then orange citrus, bread and finally some bitterness, which does continue nicely into the aftertaste.

M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Pretty smooth but it gets a bit prickly towards the end of the taste, which I liked.

O - This is a tasty but not a challenging brew. Unlike Victory Prima Pils, this brew doesn't let you know it is first and foremost a lager. I enjoyed it but it won't make it into rotation.

12oz bottle taken from a six-pack purchased at a local grocery store for $6.99. According to the label, this is “Best by November, 2013.”

Poured a clear, orangey amber color with a big, sudsy beige head that took it’s time to drop and left lots of lace on the sides of my glass.

Not as hoppy as, say, a typical West Coast IPA, but there’s quite a bit of piney hop aroma. Some bready malts can be scented as well.

As I expected, piney hops up front. It’s pretty well balanced with the malts. Finishes somewhat lager-like, but with more hop flavor than I was expecting, with a bit of a dry zap at the end.. Seems rather sessionable.

Slightly slick, oily mouthfeel, though much more toned down than most IPAs.

Seems like a good summer session beer, but with a little extra hop flavor – not a bad thing. Reminds me of Iron Goat’s ISA. Not bad at all.
