Excellent little beer store in Austin. Extremely knowledgeable staff as I tried to navigate the local options being from out of town. If I ever go back to Austin this will be my spot to stock up.

Awesome selection and service! I told the guys where I was from and what I was looking for and they amassed an awesome selection of brews including JP Oro Riserva. One of the best beer shopping experiences I've had in a long time. My son loved the store dog, she was great.

If you visit Austin, and you're staying South, head here to get a great selection of beers from TX and beyond. Selection is huge, they sell singles, and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Can't go wrong.

Crappy "younger brother" of the WhichCraft Tap Room & Bottle Shop in North Austin. Small selection, but good & somewhat overpriced compared to the big Liquor stores in town and even several convenience stores. I've been there three times and am never going back, not worth the trip when you can find their beers and more anywhere else in South Austin.

First time I went, I was looking forward to pick up a beer they had pictured online but when I got there they said they didn't have it and it must have been from their north location--which seems to be the answer for anything they post online. I had then hoped to have a beer since I'd read they had a tap room, but again that's only at the north location.

Gave them one last try last night after seeing an instagram post showing they just received a couple of local beers, but of course, they said it must have been the north location because they didn't get their share. Maybe they should change the name of the South Location to WhichCrap or It'sProbablyAtOurNorthStore. The staff is always nice and apologetic though.

Spent some very pleasant time here today. The staff was helpful and accommodating. They sell all their beers as singles, and they were kind enough to break up a four pack for me to buy a single. Excellent selection! Able to get beers not in my area. A nice experience!

A beer only bottle shop with top handcraft from around the country. The staff is quite knowledgeable and eager to help, especially with Texas beers. Best part, everything in shop can be bought as a single. Many bombers too. Events and tastings throughout the week. Worthy!

Excellent selection of beers. Always find it odd there are more beers on the warm shelves then cold and it's easy to not realize they even have a cold section as it's way in the back. But the selection, really nice. Like many a place, it always seems people come in and snatch the rarities and hard-to-get stuff immediately, but if you're looking for good local stuff or a good national stuff, you'll find it here.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.

Friendly and knowledgable staff, making the most of a fairly limited space with tons of excellent craft beers. Well organized store is super easy to navigate and I love the fact that everything they have in a six pack is available to mix and match. Looking back through their twitter its clear that I missed some pretty awesome beers, but I'll be keeping an eye on this place.

Very small space has both pros and cons: it can turn into cramped shopping really easily, but you don't have to wander hundreds of square feet to peruse the merch. It also means a bit more limited volume on the shelves. Prices also tend to be at a smidge of a premium. Not really a big deal if you have a decent paycheck, but if you didn't study hard enough in school (guilty), you'll do the bulk of your buying elsewhere. That said, no one can touch it for vibe and friendly and knowledgeable staff. For selection, I'm a bit surprised at not seeing more Jester King, for instance, but otherwise they're in the very top tier places in town, and arguable the best of those. If the store isn't busy, you may luck into being offered a taste or two if one of the staff has the urge to open a bottle or two. Also, they have great beer events, like the recent cellar release from Saint Arnold. Def a place to keep tabs on and make regular trips to.

Super cool, knowledgable staff. Brought my puppy in and it turns out they have a dog on staff, so the two of them got to hang out while I perused their great selection of beers. If I lived in the area I would be in there regularly.

Best bottle shop in Austin! Largest singles wall, super knowledgeable staff, and best shop dog ever, BUBBA! Free tastings every Friday and Saturday night, plus the chance of multiple ones during the week. They run out of the whalz super quickly now due to its popularity and social media presence, but always well stocked!

This store is in one of my favorite areas of Austin, on Lamar Boulevard next to the cool Aviary store and lounge and the BA-listed Black Sheep bar. Whichcraft reminds me of the bottle shops back home in Philadelphia: a simple layout, lots of beer and nothing but beer.

I like how they divide the stuff in shelves and styles (Barrel-aged, Texas, Belgians, Sours). I was looking for Jester King El Cedro and the guy working there (owner?) helped me out so much, even texting his buddies to find the availability of that beer around Austin.

I have to say that for a store ran by self-professed “beer geeks”, the lack of refrigeration is troublesome. Also, I didn’t find anything super crazy or extremely rare here, but they do have enough stuff to satisfy y’all (or almost y’all). Imported brews from Ducato, beers from Odell, Founders (Imperial Stout!), Clown Shoes, North Coast (Old Stock), Southern Tier (Crème Brulee), New Braunfels (barrel-aged and sours)…

I will definitely come back next time I am in Austin, if only because I love the area and to explore new arrivals.
