Notes: Citra and Mosaic cosmically coalesce in this juicy, transcendent beer thanks to a special technique called “hop-bursting”.

It's a good, solid session IPA. Hazy amber color. Smells sweet and citrusy. Tastes buttery and woodsy, with a tart aftertaste. Likewise, it feels buttery and delightfully effervescent on the way down.

Incredible to believe that this is only 4.5% abv, it packs as much punch as almost any imperial mosaic-based IPA. Super juicy, tropical, and simultaneously crushable. I'm just glad this is in cans so that I can continue to drink so much of it this summer.

12oz can poured into a tall pint tumbler.

Never heard of this beer before, but it pours a slightly turbid, bright yellow with a big fluffy 2-3 finger head that leaves a nice sample of lacing throughout. What immediately stands out to me is an enticing lemondrop candy aroma, backed subtly by slightly herbaceous notes and a hint of spent grains to balance. With most session brews, brewers seem to nail the nose but lose all that glorious, anticipated flavor. Not this one! The taste almost perfectly mimics the aroma, lemon peel, candied citrus, just the right hint of baked bread for spot-on balance. High & tight carbonation, absolutely crush...err, sessionable. They didn't lie! If this was local I'd plow through these by the case. So friggin' good, possibly my favorite session ale out there right now.

Edit again. Have bought 3 succesful 6 packs (feb/mar 16). As before, light refreshing, great hop aroma and a nice low level of bitterness. Good

EDIT: The quality of this beer has decreased substanitally the last several times ive bout it (Nov/Dec 2015). Enhanced bitterness, decreased hop aroma, and an overall unpleasant taste are leading me to purchase this less and less. Very sad. But i must change my grade. You used to open this beer to a floral explosion, but no longer. Well, twas a time

Wow, for a session ipa this is amazing, maybe one of the best ive had of this style. I love citra and mosaic, so this fresh is just a bomb of those in your mouth. Not perfect, as its a bit sweet for my tastes, but this is easily as good as yellow rose

This is a terrific example of a session
I can't really agree or understand a review that references watered down.
I don't think the intent was to act like a 7%.
Aroma, taste, and feel are all there.

Great session IPA. It smells like I'm stuffing my face in a bag of hop pellets. It's floral and grassy at first, then turns juicy as it warms. The underlining toasty malts appear briefly to punch up the character, but then earthy and peachy hops roll through the semi-dry finish. Go find some.

I'm surprised the average is so high. This is pretty darn mediocre. Happy to see a new beer at Portside, though. This is like a malty lager type session IPA. The pitcher was good but in no way would I call this a session IPA, at least not in modern terms.

A: Pours with a slightly chilled haze from can. Golden/yellow in color. A two finger white head forms, and recedes in a minute. Rings of lace are left.
S: A big, fresh herbal blast with citrus/orange peal. A cracker like malt in the background. Kind of biscuit like as well. Finishes with a bit of pine and light bitterness.
T: Like the nose. Herbal, lightly piny. A citrus blast of orange peal and lemon. Cracker and biscuit malts make up a solid background with a lingering bitterness. Fairly simple, and really well done.
M/D: A light body that is super effervescent. Crisp, clean, and dry. Supremely drinkable, and you want more as soon as you finish one.

Well done. The hoppy character is big, but never out of balance. Perfectly weighty for the low alcohol, and the simplicity is great. Probably the best I have had from Oasis, and the best they have done to show off their sessionable styles. Reminds me of a softer version of Yellow Rose, and really similar to the "Session Yellow Rose."

Clear, golden body with a fluffy, tall white head. Biscuit malt, cracked pepper, floral hops, citrus. Juicy and bready at the same time. While I normally shy away from what I would describe as balanced IPAs, I find this beer refreshing and delicious. A little more body on such a small ABV beer really helps to round out the flavor. Everything comes together harmoniously. Light and body and highly drinkable, this would be a great beer for the warm weather seasons. Solid.

Excellent pale ale. The beer is a tan yellow color, completely clouded over. The head is a thick blanket of white foam that leaves behind lots of lacing. Very good retention. The aroma is tropical fruit and citrus hoppiness. Tangerine, pineapple, peach, a little lime peel edge, lemon. Good stuff. It’s fresh and fairly juicy. Little malt character present, maybe just a bit of crackery grain. The taste is mildly bitter with decent hop flavor, pretty good for 4.5% abv, really. Light feel on the palate. Fairly soft with a bit of prickly from the carbonation. Tangerine, pineapple and lime notes bouncing around on top of a dusty, piney base. Again, not much malt contribution, which is a plus for me. This beer is right in line with the new wave of hoppy beers and reminds me of a Cellarmaker pale ale. It’s very easy to drink and quite refreshing.

Pour is a mildly opaque very light golden yellow. Half a finger of white foam sits atop the stack.

Nose is light and refreshing. Grassy and citrus hops start the party. Satsumas and a light sweet floral hint. A touch of bubblegum too. light crackery malts run along the bottom.

On the tongue it's crisp and refreshing starting off with the airy afternoon hops: grassy light citrus and that touch of floral bouquet. What starts as a bright summer jaunt through a grassy field though takes a sharply bitter turn towards the end bringing orange pith to the forefront.
For the 'lighter' side of things (4.5%), this manages to stradle that fine line amazingly well of being both refreshing and easy drinking and full flavoured and fierce. I was admittedly a little wary of the 'session' buzzword, but I think this is one of the better executed examples of the subgenre I've tried thusfar. Much much thanks to @Bulldoza for sending this one along in his BIF box. Thanks Nick!

12oz can, wine glass, canned 5/18/17.

Typical golden rod ale with a sudsy white head. This modern session IPA is just slightly hazy. That good finger of head leaves just a few vapor trails of lace on the glass.

Floral, white pepper, white grapes, yellow grapefruit hop aromas. Musty.

Crisp is my first impression. Citrus hops, lychee, white grapes overlay a very pleasing crisp grainy malt base.

This an effervescent and refreshing beer. It has lots of bubbles and a light body.

This is one of my top session IPAs. It doesn't feel less than it's big brothers, but manages to be more refreshing than them.
