Perfectly fine as hazies go. Wonderful aromas but a starchy green bite that steals from the flavor profile, which is otherwise tasty. Absolutely ridiculous that they charge (and people regularly pay) $6 for a can.

Pours a very hazy light straw yellow with a thick bright white head upon heavy pour. Nose is of a ripe tropical fruit basket. Mangos and pineapple being the most prevalent. Taste is of tropical fruit paradise! So had this with a few buddies and I could have sworn I was getting huge amounts of coconut but none of them were. It was like drinking a pina colada or daiquiri. What I think was going on was it was just so intesly tropical fruityness going on that I was just perceiving the coconut to be there because I thought it belonged? Idk but it’s really good. Mouthfeel if definitely full with this one, milkshake like. Low on bitterness with a clean finish.

Canned on 11/17.
A - Very hazy and borderline opaque. Tan/dark gold in color with frothy lacing that's very sticky.
S - Very juicy/drank tropical fruit. Guava, apricot, and mango.
T - Flavorful tropical fruit from start to finish with some spicy fruit rind. Guava, apricot, peppery, some berry, and a lingering spiciness.
M - This IPA goes beyond medium body, it's downright thick for an IPA. Alot of dryness on the top of the tongue while the sides of the mouth salivate.
O - A ton of flavor packed into a 7.2% beer. I'm sampling an entire 16 oz can ... the flavor builds like a freight train and becomes a palate trasher. Recommended for lupulin lovers.

Poured into a 16 oz tulipish 450 North not sure when it was canned, but knowing where it came from only a few weeks old at most. Pours like a hazy glass of pineapple orange juice, with a massive two finger sticky white head that leaves big gobs of lace with excellent retention.
Smell is papaya, guava, spicy citrus hops, dank weed, pine resin, and grapefruit rind.
Taste is very bold apricot, peppery, guava, marijuana, pine, and a massive shot of grapefruit just assaults the entire palate.
Mouthfeel is almost large, plenty of life, not dry, but slightly sticky from all the fresh hops, and drinks very large at only 7.2% ABV, but drinks easy enough, just a ton of flavor!
Overall this is a very Green NEIPA, that has a very aggressive bitterness that is difficult to point a finger at to what it is, but a little different than most. Thanks jzeilinger for another excellent beer.

Putting the sexiest trio of hops on the planet to use in a double dry hopped, New England style IPA gives the 450 North Brewing Company a decided advantage in the game of hops. C'mon guys, give everybody a chance!
Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy hops all work to seduce the nose with a radiant perfume of citrus, tropical and botanical scents. Its pale golden color is cast in the foggy, hazy gaze that's off of tapioca just slightly. Malty sweet with suggestions of honeysuckle, pastry and pulled candy, the creamy upstart is loaded with starch and simple grain sugars.
And then the hops explode on the middle palate. Juicy citrus flavors captivate the tastebuds with mandarin orange, kumquat and tangerine. Lemon and lime dance along the fringes before the succulent tang of tropical fruit roll with pineapple, mango, passionfruit and apricot. Berry-like and smooth, the finish is nearly as tangy as bitter while the finish comes with spruce, fragrant woods, fresh grassiness and herbaceous hemp.
Medium bodied and more bitter than usual for the haze craze, the clean and girpping bite in the beer's after palate provides a crisp and refreshing closure with a long aftertaste of grapefruit, grassiness and pine. This collection of hops are the sure fire way to turn any IPA into a masterpiece. The 450 North team aren't cheating fair at all.
