Nice hazy golden color with an off-white head, this Citra-Mosaic IPA features a nose filled with dank citrus aromas, with juicy oranges leading the parade.
The taste features the juicy oranges, but there’s a boozy note that is surprising given the low ABV (7%). This is really nice, but a little rough around the edges.

Pours a hazy golden color. Can’t see through my tulip glass. Taste the citrus, specifically orange and tangerine. Really good beer. Smooth silky mouth feel.

$50 Nugs, it's looking right proper. A bright golden body glimmers with the clarity, polished. Clarity is excellent, just short of reading through the other side. A dense, foamy two finger head formed without a problem and shows incredible staying power. After several minutes there's a finger cap remaining and sticky sheet lacing plastered to the mug. TIny carbonation bubbles stream to the surface from pretty much everywhere. This looks nice.
This guy screams Citra. Pineapple footprints are everywhere but it's not juice, it's hops. Bubblegum sweetness is present from the yeast profile. An underpinning of forest floor and vague tropicals round out the hop profile. A sugar cookie sweetness makes up the malt base. There are some crazy esters going on in this beer, pear mostly. It's an interesting direction. Belgian IPA-ish but loaded with tropical fruit and some dankness.
The taste follows the nose pretty closely. It's a neck and neck race between pineapple and those aforementioned esters; pear and bubblegum. It's an interesting combination and seems to work. There are only minor hints of forest floor but there is a bit of blueberry skin. Soft sugar cookie sweetness wraps up the malt base, and this beer.
Mouthfeel is good. It's bright, fizzy and effervescent. The body is on the lighter side of moderate with a welcomed frothiness. There's a little residual sweetness on the swallow but when it dries up it dries up quick. It's softly bitter and combined with that dryness it boosts the drinkability.
450 Nugs is an interesting one. I had a couple of these a few days ago while busy doing stuff and I swear it tasted different. Today, it tastes like a Belgian IPA hopped with Citra and some Mosaic. It's good, it's refreshing, it's easy drinking. It's unique. All that said, I probably wouldn't buy it again.

A - Hazy body, dirty orange and milky, with fluffy white head, and some lacing.
S - Strong hit of fruit, orange and mango and other tropical fruits. Around the edges, a touch of pine and resin.
T - Pungent fruits, foremost orange juice, some peach and mango highlights, and a mild and soft finish.
M - Soft on the tongue, very quiet in the close.
O - Superb. A great offering in the local Indiana scene. Delicious.
