This is a small quaint taproom located next to the parent Prairie Berry winery. They have a limited selection of pizza and sandwiches (2 types each). Much of the seating is outside though under a roof, in their beer garden, though I saw no beer growing there. Beers are excellent and fresh of course, and they have 12 taps of their own beers. They do fill growlers.

Located right off Hwy 385, with its own small parking lot. A winery is next door but in a separate building. Rustic decor. Straight main bar for ordering and with a few seats. Patio porch out front. Back room with community and tables with chairs. Brewing equipment is visible behind glass. About twelve brews on tap, with a good mix of styles. Down home and friendly staff. A stand has brews and wine to go. Good spot for the tourist traffic.

I stopped by in Hill City after climbing Black Elk Peak yesterday. It is a stretch of highway with at least four breweries/wineries along a half mile stretch of road. Miner as a nice patio and stage for music acts that they share with their sister winery.
The NE IPA I had was understated and delicious but I didn't try the food. I would come back here next time I come to the Black Hills.

The wife and enjoyed it there very much. The weather was right for a sunny afternoon in late August and the beer was good. Staff was pleasant surroundings were exciting. The music was excellent and the wife was happy. We had some nice different style pretzels and beer cheese dip. I would go back in a heartbeat. Andrea was nice and told us about the Lady Brewer and wine maker. Good Times.

Visited here with my wife, brother, and sister and law, prior to dinner at Alpine Inn. Nice, cool building. Comfortable and roomy for our purposes. Good place to go for a beer. Most beers were pretty good, one or two seemed maybe slightly oxidized or off in some way.

10 or so stools at the bar and 10 or so tables spaced out gives a person plenty of room below what must be a 20 foot ceiling. Friendly service with light music playing gives you a laid-back feeling. The beers were better this time, I visited a few years back, anyway I like revisiting a place and seeing their improvements and this place has and I hope it continues.

Just opened in time for the Sturgis motorcycle gathering, set in the heart of the Black Hills. Beer and snacks only, no foood but their sister winery next door has light meals.
Staff is young, friendly and very helpful on a busy Friday night. Beers served in nice nonic glasssware. Rooms open to a nice view over the busy highway.
Beers were solid, and a few tweaks can make this a destination. Growlers to go.

Discovered Miner Brewing Company on our way down from Mount Rushmore. Glad we stopped.
Ten beers on tap, boasting a wide-range of styles. Ordered a sampler (6) with their Gose, Golden Pear, Irish Red, Oatmeal Stout, Mango Cream Ale and Blue IPA. All were pretty damn solid, and the awesome staff gave me samples of their Strawberry Bières de Garde and Wild Plum Farmhouse Ale (delicious) from their Sour House program.
They sold out of Pan Pies (made in-house). No cider on (from their sister winery next door). Next time!

Nice modern tap room, did a flight and their stout was best, ranging good to very good but not great. Didn't see any food, service was great. Might go back if within the area, which is possible with Sick N Twisted brewery across the road.
