Checked out The Local Table and Tap pub in Kauneonga Lake NY. It was pretty good. Very busy even at 3p on a Saturday but got a nice table looking out on the lake. Food was pretty good. Upscale sounding gastro pub menu. The food was good though maybe a bit pricey. Atmosphere makes up for it though and they had a good NA beer (Stella Artois Liberté) unlike a lot of places so that also scores extra points. Good selection of beer on tap if you want it. My wife and I had the crab and avocado tostada as an appetizer. A bit spicy but overall well balanced by the creamy crab spread. I had the boomer burger which was a Swiss burger basically. My wife had their classic cheeseburger. Fries were good and the burgers were cooked to order. Good service. Good food. Good view. Honestly not a bad little pub. I would definitely go back. Well done.

This is one of the few places in the area that actually rotates its taps. They have local microbrews as well as ones from all over the country.
A: Awesome place. Right on the lake. Nice to take a flight or pint out on the deck and just relax.
Q: The beer was cold. They had more than just the generic Bud & Coors. Glasses and taps were clean.
S: This is what made my first visit so great. I've been to bars, tap houses, microbreweries, etc. and I have had servers that knew less about the beer than the guy here did. I believe his name was Dwayne. I greatly appreciated the fact that he could describe and suggest beers.
S: Not bad. They have 12 taps running at once with 30 or so tap handles to rotate throughout the season.
F: The menu only has a handful of things on it. Most of them are pretty pricey and from what I had wasn't worth the money. But you can ask for burgers or other items.
Overall: Everything was a little pricey but you pay for the lakeside view and the fact that it's pretty much the only place in the area with craft beers on tap. I would definitely recommend this place. Great date place.
