Although there is a date on the bottom of the can which is letting me know that I am consuming it fresh the flavor is still quite dull compared to other Witbiers that I have had previously. Cheers! B-

Poured from 16.9oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light yellowish gold color, with a thin white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, spice, citrus (orange & lemon), light caramelized malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with strong orange and lemon flavors along with some spice. Then some breadiness comes in from Belgian yeast and a light malt character. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready

M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.

Poured a slightly cloudy, golden hue with a small, short-lived head of foam. It smelled of clove, orange and lemon. It tasted of citrus, yeastiness and cracked wheat.

Slightly hazy yellow color with a thick head with great retention.
Aroma with notes of orange peel, wheat, chamomile and coriander. Just a bit tart.
Flavor with lots of coriander, orange peel, chamomile tea, yeast, bubblegum and mild soap. Dry aftertaste with no bitterness.
Medium creamy body with appropriate carbonation.
Flavorful Wit that focus on citrus and coriander but downplay spices.

Pours hazy straw (SRM 2) with masses of very fine rapidly rising bubbles. The 2" head is white, clingy and moderately persistent. The aromas are white bread, orange, citrus and spice. Martens Witte starts mildly sweet and creamy with wheat, citrus, orange and spice plus a hint of banana but it dries on the finish with a touch of spicy astringency. The beer is light and refreshing, flavorful with moderately high carbonation. This is a pleasant, light, full flavored beer.

Pours out of a 16.9 oz can looking like a cloudy lemonade with streaming bubbles and some particulate matter. Small rocky white head tops it off.

Smells of citrus sweet, like an orange with spices. A bready smell is present in the background but it is predominantly the citrus and spice on the nose.

Taste is a delicious mix of the same thing you get on the nose. Great citrus, with both orange and some lemon, and just enough spice on the tongue.

This one borders on a medium body with a very wet finish. The citrus and spice dance across your tongue with the assistance of the great carbonation.

This is an absolutely wonderful witbier and should not be missed by fans of the style. For those sitting on the fence as far as witbiers this may be the one to convince them of the greatness that can come from the style. My only gripe is I have to get this one a four pack at a time. Would love to buy this by the 12 or 24. This beer is worth looking for so until next time, Cheers!

Not really a Belgian wheat. It's more like a cross of an American wheat with a pale ale. It's ok, but won't get again.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Hazy light yellow look accomanied by a thin, small bubble head that leaves a scattered lacing. There's a clean straw aroma that's very pleasant. A balanced flavor that's pretty straight ahead. Overall a good beer for summer.
