Pours a cloudy golden amber color with frothy head. Little smell of pine. Taste gives off sweet malt, apricot and a little pine resin. Good stuff and I love the hockey reference.

Hazy to the hilt, yellow juice with light carbonation and a finger of white head.
Smells of malt wth a hint of citrus.
Tastes of malt juice with caramel, pine needle and a dull bitterness.
Syrupy body with little carbonation.
Found in Couer D’Alene Idaho and am drinking it in Radium Hot Springs, BC, August 22nd, 2019. My first beer from Idaho.

just a tad bigger and maltier than it needs to be i think, but a well hopped and pretty classically styled ipa here overall. there is a sweetness and a heft from the grain, even a little metallic thing in the finish from it too, but the hops are bold enough to still drive this one, pine and high alpha and highly dosed. its not as interesting or as nuanced as some of the others i have had from these guys, it tastes like it could have been invented in the 90s, but i like a throwback from time to time, and this certainly scratches that itch. a light green pepper element to it, spruce and juniper, bitter orange rind and orange candy, biscuity cereal malt, honey, and minerals. its wintery to me in size and complexion, and i think this is better in cold weather than warm for sure, but with that said, its still pretty versatile, and ipa like this will always be in style and in season. robust but also kind of generic. solid beer overall, but this isnt whats getting me excited these days in the hoppy styles...
edit: moderately better from the can, but still pretty darn old school...
edit: i had this insanely fresh last night and its a totally different beer, awesome hop profile coming through the richer grain and nothing metallic about it at all, really a great and balanced beer thats more unique and delicious than i have experience it being so far. i guess you just have to catch it right, but im raising some score to reflect this at its best, which unfortunately seems uncommon around town...

Clear golden amber with two fingers of cream color head that leave dense lacing as it drops.
Smell is citrus green dank with modest malt aroma.
Taste is dank citrus resinous bitter hops with a bit of bread crust malts.
Mouthfeel is medium body with good carbonation. The finish is dry and bitter.
Overall a fine IPA . Good job BB.

Bottled April 29th. Bought at Liquor Shed.
It pours clear gold, head of foam is nice with good lacing.
Dry hopped smell with tropical fruit, grapefruit, some definite bitterness.
Dry hoppy but not without a juicy factor, grapefruit dominates but there is also cracker and caramel malt. Like what you get in a DIPA which this isn't that far from.
Good mouthfeel, good drinker. Reasonable at ~$4.50 for the 650 ml bottle.

Great looking pour. Medium head with satisfying taste. I was pleasantly surprised with this can from Albertsons in Rexburg, Idaho.

Bomber picked up at Fred Meyer in Twin Falls and consumed a few days later. Poured into a shaker pint, color is gold with off-white head leaving decent lace.
Smell is hoppy, citrusy but with some hay / grass notes as well.
Taste is pretty clean malt, hop forward, more citrus, a little soapy, a bit of a resinous bite that was missing from the nose. Some biscuit and moderate bitterness as well.
Mouthfeel is on the softer side, lighter bodied.
Drinkability is pretty high if you like west coast style IPA. This one falls right in the middle, which makes it a bit generic, but also pretty quaffable.

So I happen to be in Boise and stopped at FORK. They serve all local flare... Beer also.
The look is amazing, sadly an IPA poured in a Pilsner glass. Appearance was more red than a normal IPA but with a perfect inch foam head that lingered more than enough. So the contrast was perfect.
Very little smell for an IPA.
How to describe the taste..... Literally no taste on the first sip, then the hops start to appear (5+seconds) after sipping (so be patient). Then every taste after will speed up the process. Once you have delved into it you will experience the hops on all tastes,
Not too heavy.
A very good IPA, I had a choice of 2 and went with this due to it being hoppier.
Overall, a good IPA from a local brewery, the color will throw you off, but the lingering flavor will satisfy you.

Revisiting this in 2020: Medium clear amber, small ap of creamy off white head. Malty, leathery aroma, caramel. Taste is more old school maltiness, dry, and a light but persistent dose of classic hops.
Much better the second time around. Not sure if their recipe had changed, or just my perception. Nothing in particular captured the imagination (or taste buds) here. Rather pedestrian offering, but it was their first night. Room for growth. 3.4

Great citrus aroma, orangy/yellow color, a bit cloudy. The bittering is a little on the harsh side, at least more than I like.

Tasted first at brewery and wasn't overly excited about it. Had it again the next day at Bar Gernika a couple blocks from brewery and it tasted better. Hoppy, dry/west coast style.

On tap at the brewery... Pretty standard light orange and decent clarity.. retention is okay... lacing nice too. Oniony/garlic hops.. Not my favorite.. Nice bitterness... Just hints of dry toast... Good drinkability, just not my thing. I see the bones of a good beer for sure.
