I visited this brewery while in Boise on business. It was a short, two-block walk from our hotel on the edge of what seemed to be the heart of the downtown walking/restaurant district. The brewery is located in a simple building on a quiet city street. The taproom is plain and small but welcoming, with a medium-sized L-shaped bar in the same room as the stainless steel production vessels. There are just a few tables in that area, but there is a large outdoor patio with chairs and tables between the building and the street. The weather was wonderful in the afternoons in early May, and out on the patio was definitely the place to be.

The vibe was laid back and comfortable, with the crowd seeming to be mostly locals who dropped in for a pint with friends after work. My party and I were probably the only ones who were not regulars, but the bartenders and customers were all friendly, chatty, and made us feel at home. the service was limited to just a few servers behind the bar, with no food service or table service; however, the bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable and proud of the beer.

There were 14 taps, including 3 or 4 ciders, and all seemed to be house-made, including the ciders. They had a good selection of beers, without being "all IPAs, all the time" like so many breweries these days. There were pale ales, IPAs (hazy and otherwise), stout, porter, red ale, etc. I was impressed with the beers I had. I found them all to be well-executed and good or great for their styles.

Overall, this was a laid-back, enjoyable taproom serving very good house beers in a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. What more could you want on a warm Spring afternoon?

Good location, near the downtown Boise area but not smack in the middle of it (easier to access and park here, in my opinion). Decent selection of styles and a limited (10-ish?) taps here, so not the most diverse but there should be something for everyone. Bottles, cans, and clothing available to purchase, a generous seating area indoor and outside near a quite-ish street, and many restaurants and eating options nearby.

i had a ton of fun in here, a mellow atmosphere right in the center of town, and some really nice beers working as well, its no wonder they have become so popular around boise! the brewery is great, a chill space, smaller than expected, with a bar right there when you walk in, a lofted seating area above the tanks, and a few tables set up there in front. they had a cool band picking while i was in, a taco cart outside, and a pretty lively vibe, yet still real relaxed, just right for some evening unwinding. they have a strong list of beers going, lots of classic styles, a blonde, an amber, a few ipa types, but also some cool innovation, a hazy, a big coffee stout, something for everyone i would think. i really liked pretty much all the beers i have had from them now, both here and around town, except maybe their hazy, but they definitely have a good thing going with the beers here. i am curious to try some of their more ambitious brews as they become available. service was awesome, lots of samples and good information for an out of towner, and the prices were really fair. fun place to hang out, especially with the live music!

edit: they have really improved the taproom experience with the addition of a huge patio space out front, not sure if this came around during covid or what, but its more than doubles their capacity it seems, and its super spread out and comfortable, a great plus for an already cool place, this little part of town seems to be really getting developed and these guys are right in the center of it.

Boise is a pretty sizable production brewery with an attached taphouse, with a cool metal bar (in both senses -- welcome in the Boise August heat!). There were 7 beers on tap, with a relatively limited selection of styles; the beer itself was a little hit-or-miss for me; I greatly preferred the stout over the porter. Service was decent enough. It's worth checking out if you're in the brewery-dense downtown area.

Ordered a Hip Check on draft because I have always liked the bottled Hip Check. Not sure if it was a bad batch but it was very bitter and dark like it was burnt. The very soft spoken tender should have tasted the batch before serving. Not very consistent in my book.

New kid on the block in Boise. Nice downtown location, interior is very industrial, nice upstairs loft seating area. Still getting up to speed. Room for growth here.

Nice, clean looking brewery in downtown Boise. Well staffed servers ready to offer tasters as soon as you walk in. Place was pretty packed at 7 pm on a Wednesday. Kind of a locals vibe to it. Beers were clean and true to style. Will probably try again in the future since they're a pretty new brewery to see how it progresses.
