Small beer bars located slightly off the town centre. Staff is very knowledgeable and great to chat with. Good selection of beer to go as well as great selection of beers on tap. Prices are fair for selection and quality. Definitely the place to stop when in Lisbon.

They get an A for effort. This place is out of the way, but may be the best representation of the burgeoning craft beer movement in Portugal. They also have a good selection of bottled beers from throughout Europe. Mostly Belgian and German. The 10 beer sampler was from a chalkboard list of 12 locals and 2 more on the separate board that were hand drawn cask ales. All were discernable as being attempts at the style they were claiming to be, but not all hit the mark precisely and the Belgian golden strong and the barleywine we're the closest. Cerveteca has a decent selection of tapas style food to accompany your beer. We got the local cheeses and local sausages. Yum. The barmaid was friendly and helpful, although she could have used some help with the number of patrons that were there. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Lisbon.

A last-minute trip to Madrid to see the family meant a one-day stopover in Lisbon. Lucky for me, my friend just moved there and lives around the corner from Cerveteca. A lovely craft-beer spot in a quiet place of a town not known for good beer.

The place is small and simple but welcoming, with lots of sofas Ikea-style, dim lighting and two young guys working/owning the shop (perfect English spoken). Reasonable prices too, and good snack-y food with generous servings.

12 taps, which during my visit had Brewdog Jackhammer and 5AM, Weihenstaphaner, De Cam Oude Lambier, De Molen Hel-Verd Bruichladdich BA, Bolina Nelson Sauvin, To Ol You Shall and three more De Molen, including Rasputin and Tsarina Esra.

The bottle menu is long and detailed, with a beer glossary first. Some stuff from Portugal from Dois Corvos, Mean Sardine, Post Scriptum, but not much. Lots of Mikkeller, Belgians, To Ol, Brewdog, barrel-aged stuff from Struisse and de dochter van de korenaar... had a great time here, definitely a MUST for the good-beer lover in Lisbon!

So happy to have found this place is Lisbon. 12 beers on tap and offer flights of 5 and 10. Nice variety of beers from Portugal and all over. Nice selection of beers to go and in fridges for on site consumption. Staff was the best part. They were super friendly and had amazing suggestions.

This is a must hit if you love craft beer and are ever in Lisbon.

The space is kinda small but it's very well explored by its owners with probably one of the best walls + fridges I've seen in my entire life. Selection was great and some of the rarest things I've ever had had just vanished a few days ago, which means their selection is awesome. Usually places like this have beers from Belgium, Germany and US but Cerveteca also has a good looking selection of scandinavian beers, going from Mikkeller to To Øl.

Visited here in Feb 2015 and had a wonderful time. Lovely interior, even the lights are beer themed. Bar staff, super friendly, happy to let you taste and very knowledgeable. Had a good selection from around the world (altho owner away when I was there so bottle stock a little low). Had some great local stuff such as Passarola, which produces a great IPA. Mixed clientele, locals and foreigners. Had great chats with a Norwegian couple, who make their own kit and brew in their garage, as well as a guy from Brazil, who was buying half the bar (heads up for a taste of Tokyo) and some Russians who drunk all the Passarola and the Punk the previous Sunday !!! Recommended.

Nice place to visit. Seems popular with the locals which is often a good sign. People don't repeat much going to places they don't enjoy.

Excellent beer list: Impressive bottle selection and a limited but good quality tap list.

Great service, friendly.

Surprisingly varied selection to pick from.

This bar has an excellent mellow vibe. It's just off the beaten path in a funky residential neighborhood and the crowd was mostly locals on the two nights I visited at the end of August. They had just opened recently and the owner told me he is still working to fill out their selection, still it was very impressive. Nice bottle collection from Mikkeller and Brewdog along with several other top rated experimental European breweries. Highlight for me was getting to sample the selection of well made Portuguese beers many of which you can only find in this bar or a few other places. Tap selection was limited, if impressive and they said more beers on tap where in the near future (They'd only been open a few months). The owner was super friendly, taking time with all the costumers and easily transitioning from bringing beer newbies up to speed and helping others locate just the right item from the good bottle selection. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Visited Cerveteca Lisboa on the last day of my vacation in July. Really the only place in Lisbon that has craft beer. Good selection of Mikkeller, Brew Dog, and some local Portuguese craft beer.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff which I spoke to at length. The bar had only been open for a month, so is a fairly new and unique bar experience to Lisbon.

A great feature of the bar is that the bottle menu is also available for takeaway. Ended up bringing back a few bottles of Mean Sardine, a very good local craft from Portugal.

They have a great selection of Mikkeller, De Molen, and Brewdog, and round out the rest of their bottle options with a range of Belgians - Rochefort and Orval are the ones I remember.

The service is great, the guy who runs the place is friendly and excited to talk about the bar and the beer scene in Portugal.

They had the Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen and a different Schwarzbier on draft when I was there, but it looks like they have about 7 taps - in talking with the owner, it came out that they opened a week and a half ago, so I would imagine that those will fill in over time.

No food available, but they are open to you bringing in snacks / dinner if you're interested.

I had the hefeweizen and Schwarzbier, as well as the De Molen Zus & Zo, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall, a great place to spend an afternoon in Lisbon, especially when it's hot out. Good variety and it's the only place I've found to get craft beer in Portugal.
