This place is the Chuck E. Cheese for the over (21) crowd with the entire establishment lined with arcade games with the benefit of great beer and food. There's a mix of ages that go here with the majority being a 20-30 something crowd. I was able to try some local stuff that I can't get back home (a.k.a. - Barrier Brewing"). A nice walk from my Mid-Town hotel and it didn't break the bank.

Went on a busy Saturday afternoon and can't say I have any complaints. Had no problems getting beer in a timely manner and the place itself, like other video game bars that I've been to, is what it is - you drink a beer and play some old school video game. The selection wasn't the greatest but I found a few beers I liked so that isn't a complaint.

This place has the worst service of any beer bar in all of New York City (and I've been to Blind Tiger).
Good selection, but it just isn't worth waiting 25 minutes for the bartenders to stop bullshitting with each other and actually serve you when you're tipping well.
Just walk 15 minutes to Rattle N Hum East.
Fuck barcade.

Cool place. Not as good as the Philly Barcade but better than the Brooklyn one for me. Decent food (tots, cheese and charcuterie). Service could be a bit slow; I felt like I was in Williamsburg. Good to see another nice place on the west side.

Well, Founder's KBS on tap was enough to get me down here. $10 a ten ounce pour with a $1 discount during their 12-7 Happy Hour.
The rest of the beer selection is excellent, including some exclusive brews and a cask option, running the gamut of great craft beer breweries.
Prices seem to start at $7 and up but considering this is NYC and furthermore Chelsea that's pretty much expected.
Of course, Barcade is all about the arcade games and there's easily 50 here for grown folks to shit their pants and turn into pre-teens again.
Cool spot. The music is some angsty shit that could cause suicides but that kinda comes with any place born out of Williamsburg.
