L: Hazy yellow, a bit on the golden/orange side, foamy head. Saison.
S: Spice, wheat, belgian yeast and citrus.
T: Sweet malt, a bit of tartness from the wheat, plenty of lemongrass plus other herbs/spices.
F: Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Bitter herbal finish, not so dry as with other saisons.
O: Very interesting saison.

Bottle @ home. (Mostly) clear, golden colour. White head with reasonable retention. Aroma's: fruity, a hint of caramel malts and some herbs & spices. Retronasal it's not so much fruity as herbal/spicy with light sweetness. Flavour light sweet with some herbal bitterness. Light medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry and moderate bitter. Nice interpretation of the style.

Golden blonde, clean. With a beautiful foam.
Lemon notes in the smell, fresh, with other spicy notes, pepper.
Fresh taste too, drinkable, lemon notes again, peppery/spicy, on a relatively light malty base.
The hop is here just for the balance.
Light body, fresh aftertaste, with light peppery notes, lemon, and, maybe, camomile.

Bottle. Golden straw in colour. Slight haze. Wispy head.
Smells of medicinal hops and lemon sherbert.
Tart with with an earthy dryness. Hints of honey and spice. Peppery.
High carbonation with a light to medium body.
This particular saison was not to my liking.

6€ for half pint at Lottis. Light color, nice retention. Not a huge nose but very expressive yeast through palette. A really nice beer, especially for those who enjoy flavorful clean saisons.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/13/2016. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 3 finger dense and rocky white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a huge cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, pear, apple, peppercorn, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, pear, apple, peppercorn, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Large amount of yeast spiciness and moderate herbal hop bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, pear, apple, peppercorn, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp/foamy, and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Poured into a Duvel tulip. The liquid is a slightly dark golden amber with visible carbonation and a little cloudy. The pour produces a really nice off-white head that leaves nice amounts of lace and takes a while to fade to an inch of foam.

Nice yeasty esters in the aroma - grapes, apple peels, french bread, pears, cinnamon, and a bunch of other flavors and impressions I can't describe. Really good full aroma with a good amount of fruitiness and breadiness.

Taste keeps all he aromas, and brings in a bunch more flavors. First, I notice a lot of mustiness that was conspicuously absent from the nose. Second is a pronounced citrus flavor that complements the apple peels and grapes really well. Lastly is a very pronounced black-pepper flavor. And, as usual for saisons for me, there are even more flavors on the palate that I can't really identify or describe. Finish is slightly bitter, and the finish reprises all the flavors, ultimately finishing on french bread.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with a heavy amount of amazingly soft carbonation.

Overall, one of the better saisons I've tried. The french bread and black pepper flavors kind of set it apart in my mind, and it all comes together really well.

Hazy golden colour with a very nice white head. Smells of flowers and freshly cut grass, lemon and funky saison yeast. Tastes like flowers, if you can imagine that, as well as lemon, herbal bitterness, some spiciness and some honey. Very nice mouthfeel, due to the low body and medium-high carbonation, bitter-sweet and refreshing aftertaste.

330ml bottle. A very gentle saison. Light flavours of lemongrass and peppery citron. The nose is soft and lemony. No mouth-puckering tartness but sufficient edge to be refreshing. Opaque, light gold colour with a rapidly disappearing head. A straight-forward, approachable, easy-drinking saison.

On tap at Swillburger/The Playhouse in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a light straw yellow color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells lightly floral, and slightly soapy, with clove, lemongrass, and white pepper.

This is pretty solid, but the kind of soapy feel to this isn't ideal. I wish the spice character (lemongrass + pepper) was a little bolder, and I wish the yeast character or hops added a little bit more bitterness on the finish. The light fruit character and what spice character I can detect is nice though.

This is light bodied, pretty crisp and clean, with a pretty high level of drinkability.

This is definitely in the Dupont-style of saisons, but it's not to that quality level, unfortunately.
