Purchased at Lekkerbier. Label is different than pictured. ABV 7.5%. Cloudy golden lager color. Taste is lightly fruity with medium carbonation. slight lacing. Clean aftertaste, but not sure I would seek it out despite my love for honey and making mead. For all the awesome ingredients listed on the label, am disappointed that they didn't shine through. An okay brew, worth another try.

Orange amber colour with a good head, though this one dissapears quite quickly. Smell of vanilla, honey, malt and Saaz hops. These flavours return in the taste, though the malt and hops seem more prominent here. I'm surprised to taste how balanced this honey beer actually is: the hop bitterness keeps the sweetness well in check. A full and smooth body. The alcohol is well hidden. Nice.

Deep orange in color, slightly hazy, with a big, crisp head and strong carbonation. Looks quite good in the beginning, but loses much of its vitality quickly.

Aroma is rather sweet, both in a fruity way and a fuller and softer, rounded-out way: honey. Underneath, a strong and very diversified malt profile shines through. A typical Belgian spicy note and a touch of yeast are defining also.

The taste follows the nose and starts of pretty sweet, but becomes more bitter and a little severe right after, finishing off in a dry and semi-sweet mode. Hop presence is minimal, but noticeable.

Body is full and smooth and a bit lacking in carbonation.

Not as good and a lot less gentle than Dupont's honey brew (for instance), and maybe just a bit too cloying.

A pleasant drinking Belgium. With unpasteurized honey.Other spiciness, orange citrus, some hops. All well-balanced. Creamy mouthfeel, helped by the honey(I would think that this is not what you drink on the patio in the summer of fall). Amber colour and yeasty aroma. Overall average Belgian, which is above average for a beer.

A orange, brown beer with a big, creamy head.

Smell is sweet and yeasty and has some fruity notes. The honey in the beer is not very strong. There is a slight oxidation in the smell.

Taste is sweet malty and has a Belgian spicy yeast profile. The honey is more apparen in the taste than in the smell, but it still doesn't scream: "honey!". There is also a coriander taste. Body is a bit sweet and sticky, drinkability is OK.
