33cl bottle: poured into a Duvel glass during a random beer tasting evening (at home) on 30 May 2013.
Good golden look, no sediment left the bottle, deep white foaming head on top.
Yeast and spicy hop notes in the nose.
Taste was the same with hints of citrus bitterness to make the beer sharper and crisper than the aroma suggested.
A good example of a Belgian blond.

The colour is pale gold (6 EBC), the liquid is clear. The very high airy white head got good retention and thick lacing.
The sweetness in the smell is intensive. Some smooth yeasty phenols, some exotic fruits and hints of wheat sourness and warming alcohol. The bitterness is both fresh and mild.
The taste is smooth, this beer is from start to finish enormously drinkable. I come to think of the roots of Belgian blonde beers: It was their interpretation of a Czech pils. Sweet french loaf-like malts, clean bitter hops, some wheat-flour and smooth notes of mature fruits (red apples, apricots, peaches). The aftertaste brings some alcohol, more ripe fruits and a somewhat “green” bitterness. The finish got notes of green bananas.
The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles fresh. The liquid is smooth and a bit flour-y.
A pleasant blende with a fresh bitterness.
