Notes: Double IPA fermented with a blend of yeasts, resulting in flavors and aromas of juicy nectarines and ripe pineapple. Dry hopped heavily with a unique pairing of American and Southern Hemisphere hops (Citra, Mosaic, Vic Secret).

Alvarado is on a role! From a 16oz can, hazy yellow, creamy white head. Looks like unfiltered apple juice. Smells of pineapple, yeast and pine. Sweet pineapple, resin and vanilla cream. Texture is smooth and creamy at first and finishes with some spice. Just a bit hot on the the finish too. Love it!

This beer pours a murky orange yellow. Thin foaming. Orange forward citrus aroma. Mellow, pillowy haze beer. Easy drinker.

Enjoyed on tap at the Toronado.

POurs out hazy with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer has a good amount of very nice bright hop aromas on the nose. The taste was very nice, great juicy and bitter balance on this one. The feel was smooth with a dry finish. Overall I thought this was a very good IPA.

Pale gold and murky beer with a white head that retreats but doesn't leave much on the glass. The nose is mostly pine and dank hops with some underlying sweetness. The aromas of grapefruit and pineapple are there too. Sweet up front with lots of grapefruit, pineapple and mango. Very carbonated and smooth. This is a pretty solid and tasty beer.

Very enjoyable and smooth-drinking offering from ASB. One thing that separates ASB beers from other up & coming breweries is the drinkability factor - thing thing went down quick, really easy and enjoyable to drink despite being a DIPA. Huge pineapple notes, very rich, dank, pungent hop notes on the back end. Very very solid, and worth the high price.

A: Lots of hops with citrus, slightly over-ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit notes.

A: Golden color, hazy, with a dense white head that has solid retention.

T: Moderately light hop bitterness, a touch of booze and a moderately juicy finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: Solid; the beer has an interesting hop aroma/flavor profile that'complements the yeast well, but it's slightly boozy.
