Another big ol' heaping thanks goes out to Jay for this one. Cheers man!

Rack it pours solid, opaque, light orange. Nothing is getting through this fog. A one finger slightly off white head rests on top, then leaves a good surface coverage with some spotty lacing.

We have a fruit smoothie here folks! Mango, pineapple, guava, and rubber. Rubber? Yeah, rubber. Like new shoes or bouncy ball rubber, not tire store rubber. I like it.

Wow. Not what I was expecting. Yeah there's mango, and papaya, and guava, yadda yadda. But this packs something unique. Like cactus fruit (aka, prickly pear, aka nopales...) with a splash of lime. There's something else. A bit of a spice, but can't quite pinpoint it. A little alcohol flavor on the end too. Very complex.

This hits the mouth with a tingly carbonation that transfers quickly into a creamy coating everywhere. I guess I'd call that medium full bodied. Very fruity and sweet, but manages to have a decent bitter bite on the end. As expected with what the flavor was laying down, a good dose of alcohol warmth comes through as well.

Alvarado Street does it again with this one. A great, juicy, heavy hitter of a beer with a few nice trick shots. Cheers, and thanks again Jay.

Canned 4/2/18
Look: Murky golden yellow, with full on haze complexity. 2 fingers worth of head, with generous lacing.
Smell: Mango, pineapple, orange, guava, grapefruit and lemon with slight malt presence.
Taste: Follows the nose, with mango, guava, grapefruit and lemon being dominant, and keeping it real with the malty flavor. Very tasty and pleasant. Hop bitterness noted, giving lemongrassy taste.
Feel: Medium in body and weight, with low to medium carbonation. Beer is soft but does have a bitterness fizz.
Overall: Another nice IPA from ASB. I like the juice flavor with a nice hop and malt addition. I am grateful to have tried. Cheers!

A year later, pretty much all the same. Looks like pineapple juice, tiny head with no retention or lacing. Aroma is a terrific tropical fruit bouquet with a little bit of smooth malt notes. Taste includes bright lemon citrus and grassy hop notes to the balance of flavors from the aroma. Feel is smooth but with noticeable alcohol zing.
