Very Good
Notes: IPA X is double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, an exciting combination that provides big citrus and tropical fruit notes in both aroma and flavor. This juicy beer pours a cloudy, deep golden color, with super low bitterness and a silky soft mouthfeel.

Pours hazy, caution light yellow in color with one third inch head. Taste is pineapple, peach, and starfruit. Medium bodied, medium high carbonation, and slightly bitter. Good ipa. Not a beer that totally blew me away, but still very tasty.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned February 19th 2019.

Very pale bodied, an almost straw pale yellow with hints of faint green though in opaque body. Quite a light head reaching though three fingers tall, with very soapy retention and a bright white color.

Very nice aroma of simple pineapple tropical notes and light citrus tones. Senses a little earthy and a pretty neutral malt base. Solid smelling IPA.

Palate brings little surprise but solid pleasure. Light bodied but not watery by any means in mouthfeel, continuing a simple tropical pineapple flavor with limited bitterness and luckily not much sweetness either. Fruity tones abound nicely, with more tropical than citrus bent, but touches of tangerine seem to make an appearance as well.

Not a real knock it out of the park IPA, but there's not fault I can really find with this brew, just a solid good IPA.

Citra and mosaic stand out. Fruity ipa and smooth finish. Not sure why all you queers are Sleeping on the 3* rating but this is actually a good ipa. Not super hazy like most are looking for but overall it’s a great beer

Pours a bright, but cloudy yellow color with a wispy, frothy head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. The smell is quite beautiful with a subtle, but pleasing floral nose. The taste is light floral with mosaic hops and tiny hints of mango and citrus. Overall, a tasty, easy-drinking IPA that is good on the palate.

On tap at Ardent.

Pours a hazy yellow with fine, wispy foam.

Smell is fairly juicy with notes of mango and citrus.

Taste is nice and smooth, with a mild bitterness and tropical fruit notes like mango and pineapple. Pretty clean on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a well made IPA. Easy to drink and it won't overwhelm the palate.

Looks pretty underwhelming, virtually no head lets the murky brownish orange beer to breath a bit I guess. On that note, one of the bright spots of this is a sweet, flavorful nose that brings mango and tangerine to the forefront before a decent earthy bitter settles in. Taste goes downhill a bit, largely due to a comically thin body that can’t support what flavor is there for very long at all. Before the flavor fades off there is a bit of ripe mango before seltzer water becomes the dominant flavor. Exit is mostly clean, save for a hint of bitterness on the tongue. Kiddie pools have more depth. Just saying.

Poured a golden orange body with great head and lace patches. The aroma is mild with minimal acidic bitter hops. Smooth, mild, light-bodied but at times the bitterness of the earthy, citric hops is biting and the finish is sharp and crisp.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a yellow color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A good, if a little muted, aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, hops, and malt.

T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (barely noticeable), a fair shot of hops (not as much as expected), lots of citrus (orange, mostly), and some tropical fruit (passion fruit, maybe?). Not too bad of a flavor overall, but like the aroma, it's kind of muted. It could have used a bit more oomph. Nonetheless, it has a subtle likability.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A solidly done, if very much uneven IPA. worth a look.

On-tap at The Cask Café and Market, Richmond, VA

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—oranges seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell and has light to moderate flavors of citrusy hops and a light amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA seems a little muted compared to others in this style in this day and age but is very easy to drink.
