I got a bottle of this beer from a beer store in La Crosse, WI whilst there to move my daughter out of the dorm.....early....Thanks Covid19! It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had the subtle Euro skunkiness that is prevalent in beers such as Becks. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with cracker start and finish and saaz hop middle. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

From the can (25% gratis to make it a half liter), it pours a clear yellow gold with a large white head that diminishes to a half inch layer. Primarily grain in the nose. In the mouth, it is a crisp light malt with the light bite of hops. Nice!

i have encountered a number of international lager types of late, and in the end, they are pretty much all the same. yellow beer with a light european pils malt character, an obvious lager crispness, and high drinkability. this one really doesnt smell or taste like much, a little green bottle stink to it even though the glass is brown, some residual sweetness from the grain but not at the expense of its refreshment value, and a little more body than most of the others have, which i like quite well. its got a lightly metallic mineral profile that becomes more evident as it warms, and a very classic lager yeast complexion that defines it for me, more german than anything else, a little soapy, but clean at the end. carbonation is awesome here, and the beer is certainly satisfying when its nice and cold. well refined, possibly all malt, and well lagered. not a style i am ever going to get passionate about i dont think, but its always fun to see what kind of yellow beer people drink in other countries, and this one is above average as they go.

Clean taste, had a few in Luxembourg on tap 30cl. Nothing complex. One finger head. The land the Brasserie was located on was owned by Bofferding, and rented to the owner. The competitor locally is Diekirch. Bitter rivalry, not bitter beer!
