Bustling fried chicken spot in OTR. Small, but decent selection of regional beers on tap along with some macro selections. relatively fast service, but I'm not sure I'd trust the hurried waitstaff if I had to ask for a beer suggestion, but then again I've never really had a beer that I didn't like with fried chicken. If you like Fried chicken and sides with an upscale American gastropub slant to the ingredients, this place doesn't disappoint. Grab a beer and get some.

Food, food, food. That's all that really matters here. It's great. The beer selection is pretty meh, it's always packed and you will share a table with someone you don't know, but man, that's some tasty chicken.

I've been to the Eagle a few times...always a good selection of beers on tap.
Do yourself a favor and order the fried chicken while you're there...it's the best I've ever tasted.

The wife and I decided to explore the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood for the first time while she was stationed out in the Cincinnati area. You can't miss The Eagle, a big new bar right on the main drag of Vine Street with inviting open doors and lots of sunlight.
The fifteen taps have a bit of every style: Kentucky Bourbon, New Holland Poet, North Coast Pranqster, Lagunitas Undercover, Victory, New Belgium Snapshot, Jackie O’s Morning Clock, Boulder, Mad Tree… plus a lot of bottles.
The food is mostly Southern style, fried chicken and stuff. We had a kale dip with our beers that was thoroughly enjoyed. Four bucks for 10 ounces of Jackie O’s and six dollars for the dip. A good deal.
Check it out while in OTR, and not far from The Lackman, another quality beer-centric bar.
