It's a small, local place. They have a few hop vines growing in the back, and apparently they give these hops to brewers in the area -- several friends and I went last night because they were serving three beers brewed using these hops on cask.
It can get pretty busy, and then it gets pretty loud, but the servers' voices cut through the noise well. Service tends to be very slow (especially food), but they don't forget you're there.
The selection is usually hop-heavy, but they always have something for non-hopheads. Last night they had Rogue Shakespeare Stout on nitro.

Fiddler's Inn is a quiet, homey bar with an attentive waiting staff and a small, but various beer selection. BA reviewer <knuckles> mentioned that he would drive 10 miles to visit Fiddler's. I am feel quite the opposite -- it's a neighborhood bar and an excellent one at that. It's a great place to head over to after work and relax with a good beer in hand. People driving 10 miles to visit it would degrade the bar and its atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to move with a good bar in the area, this place definitely qualifies.
The service was attentive towards my food and drink. I didn't feel like the barkeep was hovering over me, waiting for me to finish so they could scoop it away. Nor did it just sit at the table.
The selection was quite reasonable also. There were ~10 taps. But they were all quality and covered a solid range in type.
The food was pretty solid also. And you certainly get your money's worth.

Fiddler's is one of those bars that is so damn good, you're willing to drive ten miles just to drink there. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Shoreline, WA has precisely one bar worth drinking at, so the drive isn't all that unusual anyway. Fiddler's is in Wedgewood, which is a neighborhood in eastern Seattle sandwiched between the U District, Lake City, Roosevelt and Sand Point. Home to many U Dub students, retirees and people who want to be hip enough to live in the city, but can't afford a house in Ravenna.
Atmosphere: This pub is homey as fuck. I absolutely love it. Warm wood tables, plenty of natural light from all the windows, Ken and company did a fantastic job when they remodeled the dive that had been here for decades. It's one of those places that says, "Welcome home" the instant you walk in.
Quality: A small tap selection (fifteen, I think), but nary a wasted handle. Always a great mix on hand, it's also one of the few places that you can get Pike XXX with any regularity outside of the Pike Brewpub itself.
Service: The place is small (not Jolly Roger Taproom small, but small enough), and typically only has one or two people working the bar and floor. However, that doesn't seem to hurt service at all, as they are always at your table promptly when the beer is running low, or you've finished your plate.
Selection: Again, the selection is small, but always top notch (this applies to the food as well). The team here does incredibly well to bring a varied beer selection to such a small venue.
Food: Nothing earth shattering, but always very, very solid. Great chili, pizzas and sandwiches, all reasonably priced.
