This is a classic Berliner Weiss: effervescent, refreshing and delicious. Bubbly Creek pours with a foamy head and a body the colour of straw and light gold. The citrus undercurrent has flavours of pineapple, lime, peach and grape, with a delicious briny bite, while the middle of the beer packs a sour punch.

Tinker this, tweek that: it's easy to want to take something of success and to mess with it to create something that has never been done before. The struggle is real as many a brewer can't get out of their own way when quality is simply at hand. With no frills and no fauna, the Marz team puts together a classic Berlinerweiss foregoes the bells and whistles for a Berlinerweisse of authenticity.
The Bubbly Creek streams with effervescence, shining through a translucent haze of straw and light gold. Sharp and earthy to the nose, a citrusy undercurrent blooms with lime, peach, crabapple, white grape and an overall sweaty, briny grit. Simple sweetness brushes the tongue with pulled candy and warhead candy.
Less earthey and no less sharp, the middle palate explodes with sourness. Sour white grape, citrusy lime, lemon, cidery apple, pear and peach add a pep of orchard fruit while a piquant wine character persists. Cleanly lactic, the lasting flavors are sangria-like but with a tarter edge.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the beer strips any thirst from the palate and ushers in a crisp and clean sourness that continues to lace with citrus, cider and grape. Only a trace of wheat returns in a brief aftertaste while a brisk whiff of the sea rolls on. Bubbly Creek is a fine Berlinerweiss that needs greater sourness and agressive dry sourness to contend with the best.

This was a fantastic Beer. I had The one with Yuzu and it really put it over the top. SUPER drinkable. Felt like it was gone WAY too fast.

Half liter bottle into two mini tulips. First half was clear, bottom half hazy. Dark straw. Little to no head that disappears immediately. Faint but classic Berliner nose of lemon and lactic acid. More of the same in the taste, both pretty mellow. Really, really light which detracts a bit. Good beer but a bit too thin.
